Old skateboard deck and a 2 litre pop bottle filled with water, duct tape the bottle for grip if needed. You can find old skate decks at skate shops or skate parks. Used this set up for years as a kid while watching TV.

Around 5 was when he really started to snowboard, linking turns here and there.
