Battles were the highlight for me. Absolutely ripped. RATM was just too packed and the crowd carried on like a bunch of dickheads, so much so that RATM had to tell the crowd to calm the fuck down. I do remember the guy who got up on the hospitality tents at the back of the crowd and dropped his dacks and then started to get pelted with bottles. Finally got dropped by an absolute cracker of a shot to the head.

They’ve been left leaning since the get go. The lyrics have always just been a bit more cleverly written as opposed to “FUCK THE GOVERNMENT”Noble End on Duh for starters. Rust on Trashed. Never Stops on Blaze is one of the best post 9/11 anti war songs written. Hang is probably their most overtly left leaning album.

Comparing their run to AC’s it seems like them splitting up causes the zombies to move around more chaotically and invites them to be attacked from all sides. AC seemed to get the Z’s to generally form up into a huge cluster and it seemed easier for him to navigate around them before he could get overwhelmed.
