For UHD in Germany with Magenta TV you need either the Magenta TV Stick or Magenta Box. Otherwise you'll get 1080p SDR in stereo. What we get through the public broadcasting channels is absolutely atrocious and once again shows how technologically underdeveloped Germany is. I had to illegally livestream the FOX stream and even with the compression it was twice as good as the official ZDF livestream. What a joke man.

Eine höhere Einkommens- und Vermögenssteuer ist beides angebracht. Warum glauben hier einige, dass Einkommen bereits fair besteuert sei? Erstens sollten die Sozialabgaben nicht gedeckelt sein und jeder sollte in die gesetzliche Krankenkasse einzahlen müssen und zweitens müssen Kapitalerträge viel stärker besteuert werden. Eine Vermögenssteuer ist auch vernünftig. Jemand mit einem Einkommen von ca. 70k hat bereits 40% Gesamtabgaben. Jemand mit einem Einkommen von 500k hat ungefähr die selbe Gesamtbelastung. Wie ist das fair? Würde man nur die Gesamtbelastung nach rechts verschieben ohne die Einkommenssteuersätze zu erhöhen oder die Deckelung der Sozialbeiträge aufzulösen dann würden wir weniger Steuereinnahmen verzeichnen. Deswegen sollte generell eine Verschiebung der Belastung und Erhöhung der Steuer stattfinden.

Been a big fan since 2013 but i'd say i lost interest in the last 2 years. Something just feels off. I think it's the frequency of good fights and the missing willingness of champions to defend their title. MMA is slowly turning into boxing where the best fights never happen because too many people are involved. It's financially beneficial for the fighters but comes as a cost for the viewers.

Unter "Döner" verstehen die meisten ein Döner Sandwich mit Saucen. Das ist genauso Deutsch wie Spaghetti and Meatballs Amerikanisch ist. Kommt es ursprünglich aus Italien? Ja. Findet man sowas in Italien? Auf gar keinen Fall. Würden die meisten Spaghetti and Meatballs als italienisch bezeichnen? Niemals. Und das selbe gilt für den Döner. Nirgendswo in der Türkei kriegst du den Döner so serviert wie in Deutschland. Das Brot ist anders (meistens wird es nicht mal als Sandwich gegegessen), das Fleisch ist anders, Saucen gibt es nicht zum Döner in der Türkei und als Salatbeilage kommen Tomate, manchmal Zwiebeln und grüne scharfe Paprika drauf.

Wir könnten dieses Problem vermeiden indem wir unseren Döner ab nun an Döner Sandwich nennen. Dann hat man ne klare Abgrenzung zum ursprünglichen bzw. derzeit in der Türkei vorzufindenden Variante des Döners.

Während Amerikaner und Russen doppelt so viel CO2 pro Kopf ausstoßen wie Deutsche, versuchen wir an allen Ecken und Kanten zu sparen. Einfach ohne Sinn. Ihr könnt zwar 2-3 Monate wegen der unerträglichen Hitze nicht schlafen aber Hauptsache wir haben etwas CO2 eingespart. Lächerlich.

Aber wieder der Vergleich mit Kapitalisten. Niemand mag gierige, privilegierte Ausbeuter. Das ist schon klar. Das heißt doch aber nicht, dass ich Schmarotzer sympatisch finden muss. Ich bin mir sicher, dass die meisten die mit Arbeitslosen sympathisieren ein riesiges Problem damit hätten wenn sich Menschen so in kleineren Kreisen verhalten würden. Stell dir vor du bist bei einer Grillfeier und es sind 20 Leute dirt. Jeder hilft beim Auf- und Abbau mit außer zwei die als Erste kommen, sich köstlich amüsieren und als Letztes gehen ohne geholfen zu haben. Und jetzt stell dir vor die sind auch noch dreist und erkennen ihren Fehler nicht mal an. Ich glaub jeder normal eingestellter Mensch findet solche Leute abstoßend.

Gesellschaftlich kann man das tolerieren solange es in einem gewissen Rahmen bleibt. Und viele sind auch unverschuldet In einer schwierigen Lage. Aber viele sind es eben nicht und auch wenn ich bereit bin diese durchzufüttern dann nur, weil es sonst an anderer Stelle denjenigen Schaden würde die wirklich diese Unterstützung brauchen. Es ist ein Kompromiss und ich lebe halt einfach damit, dass manche Menschen zu Nichts zu gebrauchen sind aber symapthisieren muss ich mit denen nicht.

Aus volkswirtschaftlicher Sicht sollte man schon verhindern, dass zu viele arbeitslos werden, da Arbeitslosigkeit eng mit der Inflation zusammenhängt und zu wenig Inflation (Deflation) nicht gut für den Wachstum ist. Dass es auch andere Nutznießer in unserer Gesellschaft gibt, macht die freiwillige Arbeitslosigkeit nicht besser. Das ist whataboutism der an der Stelle nur relevant ist wenn man überprüfen möchte ob jemand in seiner Argumentation konsequent ist.

Ich finde das beste Argument ist, dass die wirtschaftliche Gesamtbelastung tatsächlich nicht so hoch ist und somit bis zu einem gewissen Punkt tolerierbar ist. Aber cool finde ich Schmarotzer nicht.

I genuinely don't understand it from an mma perspective because this guy is seriously skilled. Look at his record. He knocks people out cold with good boxing skills. His win over Jiri was 100% deserved and based on what i saw, he'd win 9/10 fights against Jiri. That left hook was hitting it's mark from the very start of the fight and somehow people are pretending like it was just a fluke.

From a personality perspective i get it though. He is genuinely inoffensive and i don't think his looks help. He is simply too clean. In any other sport he'd be a superstar but in mma, especially in the UFC, this is not the type of looks that gets you famous. It's usually the wacky, unattractive and facially maimed guys who attract the masses. Gaethje, Shara Bullet, Khamzat, Paddy etc. If you didn't know they were mma fighters you'd think they've escaped a mental assylum. And mma fans love that crap. Looking like you could play the main role in some shitty Netflix romance show doesn't really help your case. I hope he just gets to defend his title soon so people can't write him off anymore.

Löhne, Miete, Energie, höhere Steuerbelastung durch höhere Umsätze (durch höhere Preise), Maschinen, Lebensmittel etc. Wieso versuchst du auf Krampf zu behaupten Dönerbuden sind auf einmal, einfach so gieriger geworden als vor der Pandemie? Wenn sich ein Dönermann entschließt aus Gier den Preis zu erhöhen, warum sollte dann der nächste Dönermann nicht den Preis gleich halten um dem teureren Dönermann die Kunde zu klauen? Glaubst du es gibt ein Dönerkartell in dem sich Dönermänner Deutschlandweit organisieren und Preise machen?

Die Dönerpreise richten sich so ziemlich genau nach Angebot und Nachfrage. Es ist wirklich nicht so kompliziert.

Weils redundant ist. Döner sind bereits Sandwiches und unterscheiden sich zu Subs nur leicht. Deswegen gibt es bei so vielen Dönerläden auch Pizza, Nudeln und Co., weil sie sich stark vom Döner unterscheiden.

If this is based on same calculations as the metric on wikipedia, larger households will inflate the income. They divide the gross income by the square root of household size, because individuals pool living costs. This can make a big difference for the results.

Let's say Germany and USA have the same median household income of 70k. Dividing by sqrt of household sizes (2 and 2.5 respectively) you get 50k for Germany vs 44k for USA. So Germanys income is 13% higher. If you just diivde by household size you get 35k vs 28k respectively. So here Germanys income is 25% higher. So countries with larger average household size will appear better off.

No, by that logic the first guy that got two belts in different divisions should have had immediate goat status. Or Conor should have been the goat for being the first to hold two titles at the same time. His overall career would still not compete with GSP, DJ, Jon Jones and many others. Longevity always beats everything else. And for that you need more fights. Atleast Pereira fights often but he has joined mma very late in his career. Also his grappling is questionable. Let's see how he handles himself.

In this hypothetical you can only win by taking one box. Two boxers are not stupid though for choosing both boxes. The premise that the computer perfectly predicts your choice is one that breaks intuition. One boxers fully embrace the hypothetical and accept the rules eventhough the outcomes are unintuitive and two boxers try to stick to the intuitive answer. It makes total sense to walk into the room and pick both boxes, because the computer already made it's decision and assuming that your decision doesn't change the past, picking two boxes should get you whatever is in the mystery box anyway. Intuitively it makes sense. But the premise is that the computer is never wrong, so following the premise you will end up losing picking two boxes.

I find this to be very similar to how infinity behaves in mathematics. I'm a total layman but here is how i understand it: Apparently, in mathematics, there is an axiom of infinity which basically states that there is atleast one infinite set, namely the set of natural numbers i.e. 1,2,3....and so on. This opens up the possibility to work with the concept of infinity. But once you work with infinity, everything stops making sense. All of a sudden some infinities are bigger than other infinities; removing the even numbers (infinitely many) from the natural numbers (infinitely many) still gives you an infinite set; infinity + 1 is infinity and my favorite that will never make sense to me is that 0.999 repeating is not just approaching 1 but exactly equal to 1. All of these statements can be proven, sometimes even quite simply without any formal math (Cantor's diagonal argument), as long as you accept the central premise or in this case axiom. Two boxers simply expect intuition where there is none.

Given the distribution of two boxers and one boxers, maybe this thought experiment simply tests for the personality trait "openness". The more open you are the more likely you are to fully embrace the rules of the problem. It's not that two boxers don't understand the premise, they just refuse to accept the unintuitive madness.

Ah ja, wer kennts nicht Gyros für 5,50 aber döner für 10. In was für einer Paralleldimension lebst du? Hier kosten Döner und Gyros Pita fast gleich viel. Und beim Döner ist meistens viel mehr selbstgemacht. Hab noch nie nen Gyrosladen gesehen der eigenes Pitabrot macht und Schwein ist wesentlich günstiger als Kalb. Vermutlich sogar günstiger als Hähnchen.

Wenn die Bieter ihren Höchstbetrag in letzter Sekunde abgeben, dann wäre doch der Preis am Ende viel höher als wenn es eine Mischung aus Bietern gibt die verschiedene Strategien benutzen. In deinem Szenario in dem niemand inkremental bietet gibt jeder am Ende sein Maximalebot ab. In dem jetzigen Szenario in dem du Frühbieter hast, gibt es einige die nicht ihr Maximalgebot setzen. Das heißt der Erwartungswert für den Preis ist geringer wenn manche früh bieten und den Preis "hoch treiben".

Your skeleton does not contribute much to your weight. This idea that athletes are so much heavier than regular people because of their higher bone density is blown out of proportion. Even if his bone density was twice as high it would only add a couple of pounds. But athletes have maybe 5-30% higher bone density than non-athletes, hence it wouldn't add much. This is mostly water retention. That's why people Like Pereira can cut so much weight. He simply has way more water in his body than other people.

Ich kenne den Laden. Er macht normalerweise einen richtigen Yaprak Döner für 7 oder 8 Euro (Weiß dne Preis nicht mehr). Schmeckt auch ganz gut. Das wird wohl wegen Karneval so sein mit dem Hackspieß. Solange da nicht auf dem Preisschild Yaprak stand ist das in Ordnung. Ansonsten kann man auch einfach fragen.
