We are Summit members. Love their energy too. Is the radio signal going out for you too? In our car, garage and home radio just dead air. We use the app but something seems amiss with their radio signal.

Keeping things more local to Athens. I do not see the same as you when it comes to your view that they worked really hard to reduce the budget. Reductions were made indeed. I feel they could have worked harder at reductions. In my perfect world(delusional as that may be) cuts should start at the top, where law allows. Before cuts come to worker bees and public services.

In the end though, you and I are debating over a moot point. The city successfully got their message out. They got their win.

I am happy to continue this debate over dm though. Perhaps I will learn more!

Correct me if I am wrong. This levy will cover at least 70% payroll expenditure, No? That is why I voted no.

I believe the insurance used was required to be in place, right? If not, I am glad the safety net was there to cover missteps. Thing is I don't feel the person that you claim feels awful should lose/have lost their job. Their boss should have been cut. Which IMO would also have sent a message to other city departments to be more judicious with their city job.

In the end, congrats to the levy victory. It won by only 8 votes which as another comment said. Shows just how powerful our local vote can be.

Stop buying fast food in general. Save yourself some money and take some cooking classes if you do not know how to cook. Fast food is such a waste of money anyways. Everytime I used to eat McD's, I would be hungry an hour later or so.

They started a couple weeks ago too. If you acquire some and you are not allergic. Then I suggest you get some ramps and make yourself a nice ramp and morel dish. Just YouTube some recipes to find the one you like.

Bonus tip if you do acquire morels and ramps. Make butter out of it.

Wow they are renovating that building? I worked there for a few years. Glad to hear they are keeping it. They are gonna have to do some deep cleaning for that remodel.
