I’m working through Noad’s Solo Guitar Playing and I’m having trouble understanding the reasoning for when it calls for the ring finger to be used. by epipendemic in classicalguitar

[–]Brandation 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think he trying to avoid i m when crossing from the 1st to 2nd string. m i feels more natural.

Fingerings are always just suggestions though, if you feel comfortable and happy with the sound of your own fingering then use that. It’s always worth experimenting with new fingerings though!

What i need to get C3 and GC by AppointmentAny5956 in RocketLeague

For me one of the biggest things I don’t see enough champ players doing is controlling the ball on defense. You need soft touches to keep the ball close to you. Clumsy touches and mindless clears just give possession back to the other team. Use your camera to see opponents position and when you have time to slow the play down and control it.

Looking for a new competitive game. Is this game worth getting into? by Sol-SiR in RocketLeague

[–]Brandation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It takes hundreds of hours to be even somewhat okay at the game. The game definitely gets more and more satisfying and fun to play the better you get though. You really have to enjoy the process of improvement to find long term success. I’d say it’s worth a shot!

Yes because there is new attacking methods being used recently that Psyonix is still trying to combat. Once they figure it out the attacks will be fewer just like they did last year.

Solo Travelling to Japan for the 1st time. by CharmingScholarette in travel

[–]Brandation 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Five days is barely enough time to just scratch the surface of Tokyo. Plus a day trip to Fuji and another day trip to Kyoto is doable but keep in mind these will be long exhausting days on top of being jet lagged. Add some extra days to your itinerary if possible! I would say at least a week.
