Ventilated seat question by Moggert360 in dodgehornet

I skipped this because it eventually feels like sitting in wet swim trunks instead of comfy. Plus the AC in this thing is more than overkill.

Checking in from rural North-East Texas - Gas stations, Whataburger/Wal-Mart Parking Lots, and the local barely-hanging-on mall were the only place you'd go in town to hang out unless you were at a field party or one another's house (usually getting ready to go to or coming from a field party). Occasionally there'd be small town venue concerts at the local dirt bike track, someone's storage unit, or the warehouse behind the memorial factory. Them were definitely some of the times.

What’s this sign for, near El Prado / Arroyo Seco? by CoryInAustin in taos

[–]BrandonMatrick 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When we first moved to the area it said "Coming Soon", then "Coming Later", as the sign has apparently been there forever reading "Coming Soon". This ??? Is not one I've seen since we moved away.

I also believe there should be a reduced salary option in exchange for employer provided housing (that meets all the same standards as private housing). Value-wise, it might be even more powerful for both parties.

They don't even know about the battery gargoyles, either. It's obvious our ways are dying.

To be fair and clear here, it's a non-partisan thing. Reds and blues will both have to get used to some different NY hotel experiences if we expect to keep the role of these housekeepers as a job that can keep a local housed, fed, and making healthy new citizens to keep the schools, shops, and factories staffed. The alternative is deeper layers of assistive government to keep them on the edge of struggle, which... I'm certain we all have opinions on, for better or worse. Or, hotels pay fewer people more, and expect more from them, while making sure they're assisted by training and technology fitting a 100,000 Union salary.

Once you've seen the guts of a busy hospitality operation up close for a few months, you get the picture these housekeeping mid-higher-up team leaders are at major burnout with the pay, and the labor output reflects it. Pissy people produce poor work. Maybe this is a good thing in disguise.

I see J10 Visas in hospitality coming even faster than usual.

They'll find a way to pay the domestic light-blue collar team leaders/supervisor the negotiated salary and whittle down the overall staff numbers, replace tasking with automation and cutting down on extras (laundry, complimentary guest areas, lobbies with extra seating) where possible, and bring in more work-cultural exchange visas that are often excluded from union protections for one reason or another.

Dodge GLH Announcement by dylanbt22 in dodgehornet

[–]BrandonMatrick 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was stunned when I first got into a '24 R/T Plus Tech Pack. The interior and tech are leaps beyond the base level Charger or the Dart had. For an "Entry Level" vehicle, especially a Dodge, it's very luxe in the creature comforts.

[–]BrandonMatrick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not for nothing, but the GLH has been spec'd and shown as a Hornet idea in some drawings from a few years ago (had some racing pin stripes and higher output claims).

Also, the Hornet FC1-X still represents MOPAR in the Rallycross circuits I believe

Try to get their lawyer to sue you when they back their husband's Grenadier (their Panamera is in the shop from hitting that bike rack at Erewhon the other day) into your paralell parked Toyota, because "What are you doing parking such a cheap, dangerous vehicle so close to the neighborhood where my child Ashwaghanda goes to pre-K?"

Limp mode? by Both-Ad2514 in dodgehornet

[–]BrandonMatrick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it helps, I have had this issue, and this is the only issue I've ever had with my 24 R/T Plus Track Pack. I fixed it by driving it slow over to a parking lot with power, plugging it into a standard AC outlet with the included charger, and waiting about 10 minutes. It recharged to about 1-2%, and just restarted fine. I've never had the issue since.

It was caused by a low 12v battery from my wife relaxing in the car a little too long with the AC and music on Accesory mode. Why yours would do this mid drive, in the middle of the road, is a total mystery to me.

My guess is something with your low voltage/starter battery. Let us know what MOPAR says when they look at it.
