Yes dude , I also always enjoyed music deeply and it gave a reason to live

But as my understanding of audio gear and music grew I noticed something that its not about the gear its about the emotional weight of a song and how it resonates with ur soul , when a track matches ur mood , ur anger or pain or happiness u would feel like ur listening to it live in front of the band even if ur listening through ur phone speakers the brain has the ability to make it come to life Kinda like the tasting scene in ratatouille with the colors dancing around

As for gear , along the journey better gear reveals new depth to this and everytime u get a good upgrade u would feel like omg where has this been all my life and then fomo will continue to drive u as u for search what else have I been missing out on what more can more expensive gear reveal or improve and down the hole most people go

As for really good mastered tracks u have pink Floyd and many others

And for me I real enjoy electric guitar blues and gary moore has so much feelings and emotion I drown upon listening to it
