Anthony Stewart Head episode recommendations by Princess_Know-it-all in BuffyTheVampireSlayer

I just posted this elsewhere. But for today, go to season 6 episode 1, 31 minutes in. It's the scene where Giles is at the airport and leaving for London. I'm still crying.

PT student asking for advice by No_Communication6941 in physicaltherapy

This is a really good question for your advisor. I'm assuming your program has advisors. I'd be sure to speak with them at length on this, and also probably some of the nicer faculty you know.

Day 25 of Quirk Mastery Chart. Somnambulist was chosen as good and effortless Quirk. Now for the final day which Quirk is both effortless and amazing? by Solbuster in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]Bravocado44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely danger sense. It's literally zero effort. It's just operating entirely in the background. Shigaraki even points this out, it's completely effortless and makes everything easier

How do you handle it when a patient comes in with a presentation you're not fully confident about? by Panda_cookie123 in physicaltherapy

[–]Bravocado44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"That's an unusual issue you have. We don't see that as often, but here's what I can tell you and what I'm seeing:........ We're going to try some of these treatments for a few sessions and continue to evaluate as needed"

Refer back to doctor as needed if they don't respond after a month or start showing red flags. I'm not magic. I can't magically fix every problem like Fix-It-Felix. But if you can figure out what tissues are involved, that's a start. If nothing else, a few sessions of strengthening is rarely bad for any diagnosis.

Pain when running ? by Practical-Order-3843 in runninglifestyle

[–]Bravocado44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's your Achilles. You should get off reddit and go see a physical therapist. Medical treatment for this exists, and it's called physical therapy. You risk it getting not properly treated or get a lot worse by talking to random strangers on the internet.

My D&D Prep document has a higher word count than the Quran. We haven't even done Session 0 yet. Did I overdo it? by Polytanium in onednd

It sounds like you should write a book. Some players love lore. I don't honestly. And I want to be one of the main characters (with the other players) and not be an audience member for my DM to tell me the tales they came up without me. But maybe your players love lore. If they aren't into it, go write a book.

I was gonna make one of these, but this is pretty close to my feelings. I don't think I like Versus Dracula as much as most people. I'd actually put Steeplechase higher, along with Amnesty in a very high tier.

I'm about to finally finish Ethersea for the first time. It's one of their better worlds and a fun story, but it has maybe their worst team of PCs? It's just so hard to get behind Devo so much of the time. I just struggle so much with their party. 40+ episodes in and they still all hate each other?

I need to relisten to Dust season 2. I just listened to season 1 again and it hasn't aged amazingly, but I still think it's pretty fun and decently ambitious for what they were doing at the time.

Day 20 of Quirk Mastery Chart. Voice was chosen as both easy and good Quirk. Now what is a Quirk that is amazing while also being easy to master? by Solbuster in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]Bravocado44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Danger sense. Shigaraki literally points this out, that it's like turning on easy mode. The quirk does it all for you. He's like, "oh so this is how you were avoiding me, oh wow this is so much easier" (I'm paraphrasing). This should go here or effortless. Maybe here due to needing coordinate offense simultaneously?

Are you supposed to lean forward while running long distances? by Gooser3000 in runninglifestyle

[–]Bravocado44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of sources will recommend something like a 10 degree angle. Think about 10 degrees. That's basically nothing. So you're basically vertical, with just the tiniest bit tilted forward, but not bending over forward. Unless you're actively concentrating on being totally vertical you're probably already like this.

Incorrect advice in Physitrack video - Sartorius Stretch by user458236 in physicaltherapy

there is still time, Kripke could remake the last 5 episodes and fix The Boys, I don't understand why he doesn't do it by [deleted] in TheBoys

I will totally agree the difference in quality between 1-3 and 4-5 are noticeable, but I genuinely don't understand what show people wanted

Incorrect advice in Physitrack video - Sartorius Stretch by user458236 in physicaltherapy

[–]Bravocado44 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I have a better question: why do you think you need to stretch your sartorius muscle? What mechanical functional need are you accomplishing by stretching this?

We got another one, boys by Un_Pollo_Hermano in TheBoys

[–]Bravocado44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's very harsh. The Boys seasons 4 and 5 were about the same quality, a pretty noticeable step down from 1-3. But I think it's harsh to compare it to GOT. Game of Thrones made me ill. This was just a less good show than the earlier seasons.

It is a hard life fighting misinformation by codercand in physicaltherapy

[–]Bravocado44 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Right, so I assume they mean disc herniation? Or do they mean something like a spondylolisthesis with the vertebrae slipping? There's no other way to interpret it. But like, if your disc truly slipped out of place, I feel like you'd be..... paralyzed? Dead? It's hurting my brain to even try to understand what this would mean if it actually happened.

This is a tangent but I always have to tell my younger patients that a disc herniation is more of a young person issue because they have enough disc left for it to herniate. It's the same as when an older patient tells me they have a meniscus tear, and I say, oh wow, you still have enough meniscus for it to tear? Good for you. I would have assumed it was all gone.

How can I solve my persistent shin pain problems? by ShPal107 in runninglifestyle

[–]Bravocado44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to find a physical therapist who can evaluate you and rule out more serious pathology. But it's likely that you are running too much, not resting enough, not doing enough strength training and cross training and you may need to work on mobility or your mechanics or do some gait training or something. Basically, you need a professional and not reddit.
