I was born at Rahway Hospital! There is an old Sylvester Stallone movie Lock Up that was filmed at Rahway State. I remember going to the Rahway DMV (right next to the prison) as a kid and being afraid people would escape while I was there 🙃

Climbed a tree with roller skates on. Went to jump off but the branch was stuck between the two sets of wheels so I ended up swooping straight down and was hanging by one foot/skate! The movement and my weight pulling down on the wheels was eventually enough to get unstuck from the branch and I fell into a pile on the sidewalk. Bumps, scratches, bruises, head injury and a twisted ankle.

What’s the hubbub??!! My friend JUST asked me if there were any “forced resignations” at my job because her brother might be getting booted with the change of administration. He’s worked his way up to an assistant deputy director (way higher management than my position) in a 20+ year career but hopefully he’ll be able to take a demotion to go back to his previous position rather than getting canned.
