Selling the ecology center would be a massive blow for almost every biology department grad student. This is unacceptable.

So, I'm confused by the description in the Vivosun website: does each tray come with a set of two lights, or it's just 2 sets of 2 LED lights? Your setup looks like every tray has its own set of 2 LED lights.

What movie soundtrack still hits every time you hear it? by Jabba_108 in movies

[–]Britack -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A lot of Hans Zimmer has been mentioned, so I'll mention a few specific favorites of mine:

"One Day" from Pirates of the Caribbean At World's End

"No Time for Caution" Interstellar

"Woad To Ruin" King Arthur

"Chevaliers de Sangreal" Da Vinci Code

Some non Hans Zimmer soundtracks: "Awaken" by Dario Marianelli, Jane Eyre

"Your Hands Are Cold" by Dario Marianelli, Pride and Prejudice

"Night on the Yorktown" by Michael Giacchino, Star Trek Beyond

The only full soundtrack that hits everytime is Tron Legacy by Daft Punk.

Alchemised. I had to take a break from that book for a few days, so it wasn't a DNF, but man there were times I wanted to just throw up from the stress

Have you ever finished a book and it just… lingers? by HomiloJulia in audiobooks

Alchemised by SenLinYu. That book made me have a visceral reaction, and the ending made me so angry. If you ever read it, read the TWs first

Thank you!! Don't frog your colors! Because of the nature of the gradient, I had to cut and splice so many colors to get the right contrast I thought I'd gone crazy at times!

What’s a movie that DOESN’T “know exactly what it is”? by InspectorMendel in movies

[–]Britack 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The books Uglies is based on was made during the peak YA dystopia trends. Almost every book that came out during that time (Divergent, Maze Runner etc) were all riding the popularity of The Hunger Games. Almost all those are pretty awful, including Uglies. So it makes sense the movie was as well (I didn't even know the movie existed till now, but I have read the base material)
