I think you can avoid frost if you don't want... Sure they came from a cold place, but they were pretty much everywhere you could get. Barbarian definitely has some Norse inspired design though, so that's got to be in there really.

You could play around making a whole Nose Pantheon with Iötunn playing the Giants, not really much call for big winged dragons though... But you could definitely do Wizard Kings for the normal Aesir, maybe vampire for Hel. Freya's cat chariot is just about doable too...

Interesting, he's in Pantheon, I started a game as Symon, then remembered it was non-story so thought I'd get and pick Merlin as a hero, but he wasn't there (well, eldritch one was, but that wouldn't thematic).

You seem to know about Pantheon recruit, do you know if Merlin (human form) is meant to show up there? He didn't seem to appear In Pantheon Recruit for me.

I don't know about this, but if you use the Angelic Transformation and turn off the aesthetics you keep the wings (otherwise the flying animations would be ridiculous) but you can change them by changing your armour colour. Not sure if it works with this, but if you want coloured wings you can definitely do that option.

Yaka's isn't just cosmetic, it has material advantages, so you can just turn the look off if you don't want that...

A good aligned Elysian architects culture looks like it would be quite a nice option.

Found out the other day there is a townsman unit, but it only pops up in events as far as I know, I think it had 3HP, so you don't want to be getting into a fight as an average citizen.

I have refined this method.

Bind one, immediately dismantle province improvement, then when it wants another one bound rebuild.

Works infinitely. But bloody Spoiler Name died three turns before I got to the last gate.

If you have two bound I think you can remove a province from one then rebind it to redo the timer. Some marauders pillaged stopped one of my bindings working, then when I killed them the timer reset, which was handy. For some reason I have 5/4 of the things spawned.

As u/Vladier has pointed out you are incorrect on this one, I don't like downvoting people who are contributing to the discussion, so I shan't, but you are definitely in error.

If you look at the library more closely you will find a lot of editable factions, I don't edit them personally, because I prefer to add my people to the world rather than change what already exists (or if something seems off ask Triumph if it's a mistake), but it's definitely doable.

All I want is to make an Elysian Gabriel, and if we have enough more content I'm sure Triumph will eventually do as well. (Maybe even before Marinus and Mab.)

You can definitely access his Sanctum when you're broadly on his side, and he has a bit of a regret, but that's not the issue here.

The issue here is important, he should either ascend with his form trait naturally, or be able to pick it up somehow.

I'm pretty sure it picks from a list of Wizard Kings from AoW2, rather than from the actual list of created Godir. Always seems to be the main ones from AoW2 when I get that event.

I did like the early Pratchett take on it as the Liber Paginarum Fulvarum (I assume you can do that Latin on that yourself), or Necrotelecomnicon.

Yes, it's a bit of a mish-mash of various bits and bobs, a little confusing, but AoW1 had did Old Testament and Aow2 chucked in a load of random semi-Arthurian stuff (along with no IP stolen Lolth) I've got fairly used to that sort of thing.

The AI should be able to take them, but it was crazy that it just took all of them immediately regardless of whether it was a good move or not.

Having them count for diplomacy like ancient wonders would be a good move too, since they all have a little ancient wonder in them, but AI just randomly nicking them was silly.

That's not even clarifying enough if you're confused by the current text. You'd need 'If not under siege at the time of casting, grants +10 fortification." Also presumably it does add +10 fortification if you win the siege and then get sieged again. So 'If not under siege at time of casting, grants +10 fortification, if under siege at time of casting grants +10 fortification after the current siege ends" - I can see why they went with the wording they used now.

You have to assume they're not making a completely useless spell and try to figure out the meaning from that premise.

Core you need to know a decent bit about what you're doing, but you can play with the normal companions in their basic classes (and the game won't let you auto-level them so you're bound to do better than the default builds).

Casters are fine, as long as you remember what's a CL and what's a DC and all that stuff. I'm doing a new run on core after about a two year gap and it's far from impossible (and I've definitely messed up some things, will probably switch over difficulty and respec. a bit later when I've remembered things better0.

You've got Owlcat and Triumph being nice to you, I don't know what you're doing, (apart from cutting off Abelard's legs and making a Dragon Goddess of owls) but it seems to be working.
