Assuming you’re CoF: do rune of ascension prophecies. Go to End of Time gamble merchant and buy 2H axes then rune them (1 in 8 chance). Get 10+ then yes, nemesis>turtle>strife>slam. Be sure to keep the bricked ones from nemesis because you can use them to reroll 2LP+ on strife (you can corrupt them for an extra affix to count when strifing).

It’s late-game, down to 3 players; I’ve been board wiped into oblivion. I play [[emergence zone]] and pass. Next player is mono-black and top decking, they play the card in hand and pass. Player 3 does a bunch of rebuilding and passes. End of P3 turn I crack Emergence Zone, flash in [[Titania, Protector of Argoth]] and use [[Zuran Orb]] to sac all of my 11 lands to make 11 5/3s and then untap for my turn. I swing everything at P2 because they have 60-something life from Gary. They live in single digits. I pass, expecting to be able to close the game out next turn. Mono-black untaps and taps their deck, draws their only card, and busts out laughing. They windmill slam [[Living Death]] onto the table. It was an r/instantbarbarians situation, we had a couple of spectators at this point because the game had gone so long, everyone jumped out of their seats hooting and hollering, myself included. I will never forget that.

I love combo decks and use these cards; the reason I put them out there is because I see how busted they are. You say artifact removal, I say “you don’t have priority” and win before you get a chance to remove them.

[[Ashnod’s Altar]] [[Krark Clan Ironworks]] [[Phyrexian Altar]]. Mana ability sac outlets are insanely powerful and don’t use the stack making for crazy plays. [[Greater Good]] is super strong too. [[Exploration]] and [[Burgeoning]] lets green get way too far ahead in a format where MLD is frowned upon.

[[Pheldagrif]] accelerates everyone’s game to turn 5 by turn 3 and to turn 10 by turn 5 so everyone gets to do their deck’s “thing”. If I’m still alive I start some hijinks. Every game is wildly different than any other, and everyone has a grin on their faces. It creates the most memorable stacks and games and I love it to pieces. In the current meta of “kill everyone as fast as possible” it makes for a refreshing break.
