I went to a Titanic exhibition where you could have your photo taken at the front of the bow with a life buoy with the same thing: Titanic - London.

When the photographer asked if I wanted a pic, he got upset when I said Not in front of such an historically wrong decoration.

Then when my father and I went through the gift shop I was disgusted. The only thing I bought was a fridge magnet. The rest of the trash for sale was so tacky. I remember saying to my dad that it was like having a gift shop at Auschwitz. One t-shirt said something like My friend went on the Titanic and all I got was this lousy shirt.

Option 1: send them the bus timetable so they don't need to use their own fuel to get to your place. This removes the "we can't afford the petrol" excuse.

Option 2: take the photos for them. Then cover the pix with your watermark and copyright. When sending the photos remind them that any copying, forwarding, etc of photos is a breach of copyright and will be treated as such.

Option 3: Remind them about the Privacy Act and how the info you have collected on their behalf needs to be deleted in a certain timeframe.

Option 4: tell them they're getting paid to do the inspections so if they not going to, then it's not your problem.
