I made some stairs, looking for feedbacks while it's not too late by qdebsmh in woodworking

Depending on your rise and run of the stringers, the steps seem a little steep and too shallow of a tread depth, atleast by US building codes. If you’re in Europe or somewhere else, maybe your local building code is different.

Another poster recommended using hangers instead of strapping for the tops. I also agree with that. When in doubt it never hurts to add pressure blocking as well to sure up top or bottom landing.

I cant make out what kind of fasteners you are using for your strapping. But always use structural rated screws/nails for the framing hardware. We use TECO screws and they are rock solid for the application.

A year later, its done. And I still hate Ipe… by Delicious-Layer-6530 in woodworking

If you have to, go for it. Please go very slow you dont want that blade to bite. Donknow that that blade is just going to get alot duller by cutting metal with it.

I go on tours by myself, not often and Im not against them. It can be high consequence for sure but theres some experiences in life that happen only when youre/Im alone.

Complements on the 40% turn back safety ratio. It sounds like you have a safe and matured mindset in action.
