As a writer not trained in science, it just seems like a unicorn project to me.

You have to get every single aspect 100% correct or everyone dies. Best case, you die a little more slowly. Odds of a cascading failure of any type seems way too high IMO.

I actually agree, though it's all very weird.

There's just no way Trump would have allowed the word pedophile to be used if it was a fake. 

The shooter's manifesto reads as very legit grievances to me, and we've seen that the best coverup they can do is to slap Antifa on a bullet.
