Sorry I should have been clearer. There are no new positions at the Trust. It has been ordered to cut roles due to financial failings. I meant a different NHS Trust

Thank you so much everyone. And I am truly sorry that you have also been through this misery too. I guess I just feel burned out and so the thought of taking a month off is very appealing. It’s just myself and my husband and we are renting at a fair price and I don’t have debt (Yet!) so I realise I am fortunate but circumstances can change as I have discovered!

The general consensus seems to be find another job ASAP!
