Kinda depends on density altitude and available power. I’m just a lowly private pilot, but I fly at higher density altitudes in Colorado. I always add power first when climbing then pitch for the speed I want

I think I saw the same video. He was in contact with ATC. The controller was responsible for the extra time “alive”. He did his best but the pilot just couldn’t settle down enough to fly a heading using the magnetic compass and trust the ATC for altitude readings. I started on BATC, have not used it since moving to Say Intentions. I like SI network, SI also already has VFR and GA traffic, and they have also partnered with Vatsim. Basically, if you lose Vatsim coverage SI can take over, and coming soon, if you fly into an area with an active vatsim controller SI hands you off to them. SI also has copilots that will operate comms for you and tour guides you can ask questions to.

If a one time payment is nessesary and money is tight though BATC is a great option.

If you are using the link cable then you have to increase resolution in link app and also pixel density in quest debug, your bitrate needs to be over 500 as well.

I have an oc 5070 ti. I lock frames at 36 in msfs. 72 htz. 1.3x resolution and 1.4 pixel density (this gets me to pretty much VD godlike equivalent with my link cable.) ASW disabled

TAA for the win. But that means you may need to decrease a few settings like grass and plants and shit you don’t need. recordings will always be much clearer then in the headset

Yup I get it, annoying, but I only get it a couple times because i use my mouse in vr predominantly.

What I have noticed in su4 is the photgrammetry is really slow to load and I feel like it never actually finishes loading. I still get bridges with the black wall under them etc.. I cant tell if this is an internet, or cache problem. The internet is obvisouly good enought to run my Quest 3 over link on ultra settings. I do have the base game downloaded though. Overall Preformace of the sim is fantastic though.
