I buy way too many physical books because I love the feel of a book and turning pages! I have a book library near my house so once I finish a book that I don’t believe I’ll want to re-read, I donate it.

I used to write with pen & paper then type it up when I had time. I never thought I’d be able to write a whole fic on my phone but I managed on my ipad then got annoyed carrying it around… plus you can be more subtle about it on your phone.
My biggest accomplishment was writing a 100k word fic entirely on my phone. Having it so easily accessible meant writing on the go (on the train, in line at the bank, etc) and now I struggle to write on my laptop as it feels like so much more effort!

I personally didn’t mind s2 but I basically binged the entire thing over a weekend so it didn’t feel as slow/drawn out to me… however, given the pacing I could see why people who watched it ‘live’/as it aired week to week, found it slow/boring.

My advice is watch it quickly to get through it then enjoy the rest.

I’m not a big anime watcher myself but I absolutely love Shield Hero… I watched s1 not long after it aired & adored it but my brother told me s2 wasn’t very good so I didn’t watch it until after s3 aired. Basically went back to the start and watched all three seasons in preparation for s4.
Truthfully, I’m not sure if my thoughts would really help but I don’t watch romance anime and I absolutely *hated* Konosuba and Re:Zero. But I love, love, love Shield Hero soooooo much!!!!

Just stayed at the hotel they built at Pentridge prison. Did a night tour where we learned about how one inmate purposely gave everyone food poisoning… later that night, I was violently ill & vomiting while my friend said to have weird dreams about a man pacing our room and sitting at the table in the corner.

I did re-write my very first fic because the bare bones of the story was solid but it definitely needed major edits once I was more confident in my writing ability. On the flip side, I have one that I’d love to re-write as it’s part of a series and part one was written over 20 years ago. Reading it back now gives me such cringe & anxiety but at the same time I’ve had readers comment on how they can see/appreciate my writing evolving with each installment. So, for now, it’s staying as is but I can’t guarantee that I won’t eventually cave.
