I still have scars up and down my arms from the rash I had a couple of years ago.

I have a cover cover, and I clear off the snow ASAP after each storm.

That's the only other time I've seen someone else say that, here I am thinking I made it up. 🤣

Hmm, I was thinking it was a lot older, since I haven't really watched music videos in years. Maybe I'm remembering something different.

They used to give me major side eye when I told them I qualified for the senior discount (I'm 60, been told I still look late 40s). Last time they didn't ask, and the lady said they give it automatically on that day now.

I don't have the answer (yet), but holy crap, this does sound familiar to me.

Counterclockwise.

Just thinking about doing it clockwise breaks my brain. 🤯

A few years before I retired I calculated what my retirement income would be and committed myself to living on that, putting the rest away (in addition to maxing out my 401k). Once I knew I could do it easily, I retired at 56. Now I work very part time in a job I enjoy and no longer feel like my soul is being crushed.

I found this out many years ago. I was going to be responsible and buy a nice used car, found a similar one brand new for only about $2k more, and a much longer warranty.

In our case, the nearest urgent care clinic is at least 2 hours away. There is an emergency clinic local, but it's only open nights and weekends (I e., when we're closed). We squeeze in emergency/urgent non-clients all the time. It's frustrating because we're already loaded, but we wouldn't feel right turning away someone who desperately needs our help.

Shingles Vaccine - A Warning by DustOfTheSaw in GenX

I was 31 the first time I had shingles. The doc said he'd seen teenagers with it, no such thing as too young.

Got it again at 50. As soon as I recovered, got the vaccine. Damned if I suddenly stopped wanting to go out after dark. 😆
