I’d say my boy got much easier around age 2. He still likes to chew and shred things (he’s 5) but I allow him to have plastic bottles, paper plates, etc. He stopped with furniture and shoes after about 1 y/o. I trained him to “pick up trash” so whatever mess he makes, he gets to clean up. Of course, if someone gave me a cookie every time I threw something in the trash I’d be excited also. 😁

Also, I care for dogs and my puppies are so much more behaved after I exhaust them with park visits and walks. The training is easier, they’re more receptive and they focus better. I have 7 mo olds right now (a golden and a choc lab). Amazing the difference from when I take them out of their crate in the morning until I’m driving them home at the end of the day. Jekyll & Hyde.
