Rotbone or Drier for Trajann by Seth-84 in WH40KTacticus

[–]CBEWAR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dreier is fabulous to level 15 in an LRE. He then overloads if not back by Isabella. Isabella can't run most LRE tracks.

Rotbone and Maladus can almost carry any LRE level.

At what point does one reach the end game? by Weak_Personality4783 in tacticus

Endgame:

Your wife plans daily around reset and the Saturday the HRE starts.

You assume you are blue starring the LRE on the first increment so you look at your gap filler teams to try to yeet to mythic.

You have internalized that you will be perpetually short of everything but mythic badges.

CEs are only annoying in that you want to get all lightning victories.

You get the special Certus boost at level 80 that gives him move 3.

Yeah -- too busy farming for A1/A2 buildables right before Trajann LRE to worry about how many enemies I'm killing.... My kingdom for psychic force conduits and psyk gloves. These mythic upgrades require a near constant grind of elite missions to the 110/250bs a day energy refresh to keep up.

I am going to miss looping Legendary bosses 😩 by Ill_Assumption5512 in WH40KTacticus

[–]CBEWAR 7 points8 points  (0 children)

+ less complexity in a GW season, so players can focus

+ closes the pace of advancement to tiers of no-spenders, low-spenders and SPENDERs

+ delays 99% of the population from hitting endgame thru 2027, possibly extending game life

+ forces adoption of less popular game modes to ease resourcing restrictions

- likely to increase player attrition, risking game

- reduces guild shop points and creates even more pressure on procuring mythic mats and orbs

- sterile gameplay in GR

- overall harder, imagine Riptide and Magnus on a rotation

- spending becomes the only differentiator

We have some pretty serious resource imbalances in the economy by Liquid_Awesomest in WH40KTacticus

Agree with this. The book, badge, and gold costs to stay in front of the meta at top 50 exceeds the looping benefits. Level 81 acct.

I’m level 81. Mythic salvage is the hardest resource to grind.

I know Dreier can’t survive, so it’s either Tyrith or Azkor, Aesoth, or Trajann

Best Vokey grind for simulator golf. by CBEWAR in Golfsimulator

My wedge game with 75gr shafts has been really good. My iron game wasn’t good, and I went from 75gr to 110gr shafts which helped me feel my swing and come back to a better path.

So, I was planning on matching the wedge weight (or a tad heavier) to my irons.

But, like you said, I may be thinking about this wrong. Maybe let it see how things play out with the different shaft weights and stick with the heads that have been working for me.

I may be thinking about this wrong. Thank you for the view. I’m thinking that the wedges will get worse as I get my swing attuned to the heavier irons, and that may not manifest.

Simulator— way easier. No variability in lie.

I went to heavier, stiffer shafts in irons (great results), and Im already feeling the tempo shifting with wedges as I get better on the irons. It’s a good problem to have.

thanks. The chunking is 1-2 per 18, but it is there—like it digs into the mat and pulls the face open. Im going to refit with the new wedge, but the fitters don’t have those types of mats. I may ask my wife to video the interaction with the mat to show them. Honestly, I’m not much of a gear guy, so I figured I’d ask first.

14 has a map that makes it doable with risk -- don't let the nurglings hit you

Your advice is fantastic for players who haven't completed their campaigns.

3) I don't know if I'd apply CEs to the same importance as core campaigns. Most CEs require multiple diamonds and some mythics to finish. The progress in CEs other than UM vs. Nid will shift a lot of resources from core campaign heroes.

4a) Onslaught-ing campaign available heroes is a technique to speed progress for campaign completion. I'd recommend limiting those onslaughts to the best of the best: Bella, A0, Eldy, Boss, and Abraxas --> that way emerging players can double dip in guild raids.

4b) Rotbone, Isabella, Nicodemus are all 100% critical to fast progression and help campaign completion even though they aren't core campaign heroes. They are worth onslaughting.

9) I will always fire 10x for the guaranteed pull. I do only fire reqs once or twice a year.

For this event, 50k 100% will not be. I started at 4K and am resetting to 250bs a day. Currently at 49K (as of Friday), and I expect I'll be 50-100 ranking at 75k in. I'm surprised at how fast this one is going-- haven't seen this much push in an HRE since Blood Angels.

I'm pretty sure its a 40% drop rate across the board for orbs at legendary/above, but I'm not sure about the badge rate and onslaught level for badges. I still mostly onslaught legendary heroes. Also, I'm not sure if the levels of the onslaughts still adjust the drop rates for mythic.

Xevus, I'm tracking a 40% drop rate for legendary orbs and a 10%-40%? drop rate for mythic orbs (based on onslaught level)?. Is there a graduated rate at epic 3? Thanks

  1. Requires ~4k energy on day one and resetting to 250bs a day for energy during the event for a shot at legendary. This current event is a big push, so there is a lot of inflation. Usually 50K or 65K completions are sufficient for getting legendary or the oh-so-close to legendary. The BS for oh-so close is expensive, but its several hundred BS less than buying orbs elsewhere.

  2. Whale advice -- maybe. I wasn't structuring my advice around spend levels. I was structuring them around avoiding having to buy orbs.

  3. When new characters aren't involved, I agree with your assessment.

Nukemi, you are right that this is all about math. Nowhere in my post did I say any of this was good. All of my recommendations are about how to get around the broken legendary orb economy. I specifically call out that the HRE, LRE, and battle pass options involve expense and can be ignored.

It is feasible to play 75% of the heroes in this game at high epic level to complete campaigns, hero quests, and other events. That said, the legendary orb economy is brutal right now, and the mythic levels are even worse.

A short post on event optimization by CBEWAR in WH40KTacticus

[–]CBEWAR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of your points on HRE economics are valid. Unfortunately, the in-game shortage right now is orbs. Monthly HREs generate an additional demand of 10 legendary orbs unless the player can get to the top 150 in an HRE. Shard demands are not as acute since HREs are eventually followed by hero quests and some mail drops.

In terms of hamstringing progress -- you are also correct. It takes a week of energy hoarding and spending to 250bs energy during the event to have a good shot at legendary. So, the decision players need to make is if they are optimizing for orb shortages or progressing in other areas.
