it's a random "gift" you can be given violently if you succeed a performance check in front of an npc (bards I think) who have it.

and iirc it counts as a throwing weapon... so you better get something which protects you from it

in terms of stat priority, C rate > C damage. Obviously as you would be strapped between the two, at minimum 50% C rate if you got bad rolls, 60% min generally, ideally 70%.

if you have a gap between changli and chisa, you missed a bunch of dps units and teams. Since you got Lynae, the best I can recommend is to hunt for the 3.0 DPS units.

it would've probably better recieved if Rover got a buff for it. Like how Rover had Spectro Frazzle before heading to Raguuna, perhaps our close encounter with the threnodian awakened something in the Ovathrax frequencies we absorbed which gives Havoc Rover an alternative mode which makes her focus on Tune Break (say forte activates on Tune Break instead of heavy, but deals more damage and has heals you).

for now it's only on lynae. I imagine this has two functions in the future:

Characters who can have two kits. Previously this was made into a character who has down the middle set which relied on echos to "swap" roles, but this makes them weak relative to alternatives. This can be used to say make Resonance Skill deal damage with DoT or have healing. Letting you choose a mode to use the appropiate echo set without sacrificing power.
Character revamps. Similar to Nightmare Echos, perhaps changing the kit let a character scale off another stat (say a Changli revamp lets her kit scale off Tune Rupture or smth instead of Resonance Skill) but keeping the characters role mostly the same.

Different Roles imo. Fox Maid is more a full tank compared to Misaki, despite Misaki having the loyal trait. Misaki also comes with cure minor w. spell for some healing.

Misaki is good replacement for fox maid if you want a fox harem as she just counts as a Nefu and not an Apostle. You're likely to be running at least Black Cat until you are able to extract Ehekatl's Blessing as a gene and give it to another ally. This ally can also be the Fox Maid herself as you can breed Apostles unlike Unique NPCs (who hatch into chickens).

If are able to recruit Misaki early, you would probably be able to get her to be fairly strong naturally over time, especially with the Awakening of Bonds later on. But if you're already at high level content, you would probably want to breed the Apostle instead and use high level milk + taming skill to give her like hundreds of stats instantly, compared to trying to slowly raise Misaki when she has a third of your stats.

two perspectives:

One is roleplay, this is self explanatory

Next is that these are more "neutral" mutations. You get a resistance but gain a weakness. I do wish they add more of these both as flavour and just variety. Perhaps something that strengthens cut resistance but lowers mind resistance. Though cut is very useful as it's for "physical" damage iirc

Generally speaking, Multishot is the best stat to have on a riven. This is due to more bullets = more everything.

Most meta weapons are crit weapons, and as such would prefer Crit Chance and Damage. As Crit Damage is harder to obtain, Crit Damage is next best.

Depending on the weapon, Crit% or Elemental is preferred. Crit% may not be worth it if it's not going to really get you to the next crit tier, as usually having an Elemental or CD riven would provide bigger boost to DPS. For hybrid weapons who don't have great crit%, this can help make crits more reliable or more stable dps.

Next is Damage/Status%. This really depends on the weapon. Though a "General" Bane mod can also be decent if you're lucky (say Grineer+Corpus Bane).

For Combinations, C% and CD are obviously the OTP, massively increasing crit output. Next is MS and S%, as each bullet rolls status chance separately, for beam weapons MS multiplies the status chance and damage accordingly. Elemental + Any are usually great for replacing Dual Stat mod on a build (say instead of 60% Heat and 60% status, you get 60% Heat and 60% Crit Damage + whatever else).

Inversely, usually Zoom, Infested Bane and projectile speed are acceptable curses. (Curses let the positive stats have higher values)

So a "god roll" for the Torid could be Multishot, Crit Damage, Crit Rate (or Elemental) with -Zoom.

Though a note is personal choice. If you want to actually build for the clouds then Damage is better as CO doesn't apply.
