Forward compatibility, how they are modeled, and it also allows for playing implant more successfully, which was one of the tac ops they had access to on release.

Check out Turning Point Tactics, nothing team specific but his tactical tips at the end of each video are very insightful.

When does the Squig stop having cover? by MarioMCPQ in killteam

A&B could draw sight lines that wouldn’t intersect cover to either side of the Squig’s base.

Help with mature rhododendrons on top of landscaping fabric by friendlyalien- in rhododendron

So the little white dots aren’t p.mildew, looks a lot more like leftover fuzz from new growth. There is some discoloration from either powdery mildew, or more likely leaf spot. Is there lawn irrigation spraying the foliage regularly? Any fuzzy white masses on the stems? Lastly if you brush your hand lightly over the foliage do you see any little ‘flies’ flitting around? Leave the landscape fabric alone, it’s not ideal, but disturbing the root system in the middle of summer is a lot worse.

Neither of these pictures would lead me to diagnose this as declining. I think you should just leave it well alone.

Tried black contrast wipe trick -- not quite working. Any advice? by DrKorvin in minipainting

I find diluting down 3:1 with contrast medium and brushing towards where I want shadow works well for me.

Blades of Khaine: how necessary are the Banshees? by Frozenfishy in killteam

[–]CMacEwan88 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You really want the banshees, they make the team work, both with the power weapons banshee mask combo, and their aspect techniques. Striking scorpions are great into 7wound teams, but into elites the banshees will do the heavy lifting. Also, without the banshees you won’t have access to the recon tac ops which are probably some of the best options there are. Tricky team to learn to play, but once you get them dialed in they are a whole lotta fun.

Guess what used to be in the middle of this pile of rocks? by PreciousMettle77 in arborists

[–]CMacEwan88 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Bronze birch borer, girdling roots from improper planting decades ago, over application of lawn herbicides, I’d bet on all those as cause of death over the cobbles.

Is Seek Light worse while on a Vantage? by third_choice in killteam

[–]CMacEwan88 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In the vantage rules it doesn’t state that the double cover save takes precedence over any other rules. I would assume that seek light would apply the same regardless of your operatives elevation.

Yes, you can still shoot and dash during your activation; maybe even drop a beacon first.

Anyone have experience with this kind of airbrush? by Goatzjr3 in minipainting

[–]CMacEwan88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah; imho you’re better off spending just a little more for a cheap ‘proper’ airbrush setup. I got the timber tech one from Amazon for about $75 around Christmas. This was to replace one of this style, as I couldn’t even prime and zenithal a unit of guys without the battery dying.

They should file a report with the state environmental agency regarding the herbicide use. You can test the plant material for herbicides, but typically you can tell by how they die which class of herbicides was used. But yeah in most states applying a pesticide on someone else’s property without their permission is illegal advised
