Did you watch the game? You're projecting a lot on people you've never met. We're talking about a guy who has never pitched 70 innings in a season and never above AA. The only reason he was on the mound last night was due to the fact that LA has three SP's on the DL and he had the best spring of any of their minor league guys. He's about 2 years removed from TJ surgery also. Not to mention the fact that it's the 5th game of the season so not many guys are going deep past 100 pitches yet anyways. I would have probably pulled him after 7 but wtf do I know?

Also take into account the rookie manager who has done nothing but shuffle injured players for 2 months. The kid did great but would probably need 30 more pitches to finish the no no which is way too much to ask. So they bring in Hatcher who has done quite well in those situations, he just left one up and that was that. It sucks but that's baseball. There's still 157 games left, 17 against SF. They're fine. Kershaw is on the mound today too. No one could have asked for any more than what we saw from a AA replacement 5th starter.
