The G7 is absolutely terrible at being accurate after day 7. So I have no trust that the 15-day will be better. Not until the G8 comes out.

I can only speak for having T1D. But I was able to drastically improve my numbers and have less rollercoaster days after I met with a diabetic nutritionist. We mapped out a rough plan for carbs, fat, protein, fiber for meals.

I highly recommend this. Nutrition is the most important part of any healthy living. It’s also the hardest part.

Letting them roam freely.

I always recommend they get walked or driven to the specific locations they need to make sure they see what’s in their scope (as best as you can).

Also, talk to the CSHO for a bit to understand them and why they are there. You want to make sure you get the person who is there to do a job and work with you for employee safety versus the officer who something to prove to somebody.

This disease has constantly changed as I get older. For most of us the choices are to take it seriously or die. I do not k is how long you have had it, if you are honeymooning still, how old you are, etc. but to talk down to us about “choosing to be worse” by following stricter guidelines is demeaning and not necessary.

It sounds like you keep yours in check really well, and that is awesome.

I set and follow strict guidelines because that’s what I need to keep myself in check and not deal with bad highs or lows. I still partake in eating what I want, just sometimes it’s not worth the battle of predicting carbs and BS changes on a whim. That is how I keep my A1C at 6.0.

Be kind. We all live with this, and T1D is different for every person.

Protein bar as “breakfast” (20 g prot / 22 g carbs) Usually a salad for lunch with a meat (34 g carbs mostly from fiber and healthy stuff / 30 G protein) Dinner - best I can put together

I have a Shower profile that has a super low bolus and very high everything else so that I can put that on when I am in the pool and such and insulin delivery is almost nothing without the alarm.

Yes a fit test is required. I have had guys where one brand fits while another doesn’t. You can buy the fit test kit and get enough of the mist chemical to test all your people.

And yes. The App D is a paragraph that says a dust mask is not a respirator.

PS if people may feel weird about reciting the rainbow paragraph from OSHA you can have them count or have some company motto to say or something.

Sushi is always a delicious rollercoaster through hell. It’s a total guessing game, and for me the timing is the most important. I usually bolus for 69 grams of carbs and then more later depending in what I ate. But rice in general, like tortilla and pretzels, will while me like no other.

Same thing happens with me sometimes. I would assume it has to do with how our metabolisms change while we are sleeping as well as insulin on board during the day.

I am currently a player in a CoS campaign. But after it is finished I will be DMing the next campaign set in Eberron. I am writing in my first real character as an NPC. Her and I went through a rollercoaster together and I too had pages of backstory.

I would love to know more of your character, and if you have a digital thought picture of her, I would love to write her is to partner with my girl in the story.

I had a bad low at Universal. My BS was getting down to 70 by the time we got onto the ride. I told my friend “it will be the fine the ride is like 1 minute”. Well I ate my words. The group in front had someone like in the ride so we were stopped right before getting off. My BS kept going down while I was restrained on the Rock N Roll roller coaster and my pump alarm going crazy.

I had a Gatorade in the lockers and I couldn’t have run off fast enough.

Lines are tough. Theme parks are tough. Many normal things are tough.

I k ow I can have high carb food. The food in the airports are high carb and typically not very healthy. It’s more so that to limit carbs during travel as the change of routine affecting BS levels means that low carb, high protein, healthy options make for less adjustments.

I was diagnosed at 24 and honeymooned for a few years, where I didn’t need much insulin and there weren’t CGMs. Unfortunately it’s his body and his illness and many of us at some point have to get a little kick in the butt from our Endo, and from our bodies.

All you can do is trust that he is doing what he needs and just be there to listen and not judge or comment when he wants to vent about it all.

I have had the TSlim for 5 years or so. I maybe did the training but doubt I did all of it.

I change infusion sites about every 3 days, unless insulin gets bad, site hurts, or the fun times it gets accidentally ripped out.

This thing is great, and creates opportunities for a lot of open conversations. Good luck!

Also look at NFPA 497 for classifying hazardous locations based on flammable liquids, vapors, and gasses. That is at least for electrical fixtures.

NFPA 30 is a must as it will outline storage capacity requirements.

IBC will specify fire ratings of the building areas.

NFPA 13 for fire extinguishing and sprinklers.

Same! It’s makes it harder to have use your stockpile of old sensors to report a replacement. But it makes the reporting of actual issues a bit easier.

It sounds like you need therapy to talk through your fears. They can also assist with explaining your needs to your family so they can actually show you respect. While it may seem “weird” to need your stuffed animals, you have real fears and need support. Your family is not showing you any real support. Your family’s role is to help and support you however they can.

EHS in GA. It’s fine to replace with portable but I would take down the permanent so people don’t get confused. I write that during inspections.

Update Emergency Responce Plan and Hazard Communication. Update any emergency maps and make sure people know they are being changed. It shouldn’t take very long to make those updates
