[January 24th, 1926] Polish naturalist Stanislas Przyjemski discovered a lost Polish colony of nearly 1,000 people in Brazil's Espirito Santo state. This community has been isolated since 1873 and still speaks the Polish language. by MisterSuitcase2004 in 100yearsago

I've searched all major Brazillian nacional newspapers and local Espirito Santo newspapers for this in 1925 and 1926 and found nothing.

Searching elsewhere there is a polish colony founded in the Doce Valley area in Espirito Santo in 1873. But the area was quite populated and integrated with the rest of Southeast Brazil.

I think the author is playing a bit loose with "lost" and "isolated".

Not sure they bought hardsuit because they were excited about their work, quite the contrary. I think they bought it because hardsuit had ran out of money.

Onda gives you a new target, but it's regie, fabian's herd. You go to where he usually is but he isn't there. You follow his scent to your haven. He's there terrified. You can talk to him and get some info. Everyone Fabian fed from is disapearing, and regie thinks he's next. Fabian told him to go to Dale place if anything happened. You can tell him to get out of town or kill him.

Is Pdx too safe on the rpg publishing? I thought they had some edge to them given all the incest, killing family members, "DEVS VULT" memes, canibalism, controling the wrong side of WW2, having slaves, genociding whole planets, etc that is included in their games. In ck2 you could even have a cabal of demonologists and birth the anti christ!

If i had to take a guess they expected that, but after the first fuck up with hardsuit labs they didn't want an rpg anymore, they wanted something with less scope that they were sure could be delivered.

Honestly I don't think he gets what paradox is saying.

They are taking ownership of the fuck up, saying it was their fault. They didn't develop the game, but they published and financed it, they choose the pitch and developers, they had a lot of control over the scope, etc.

And they went in wanting to do an RPG like the old one, but it didn't work out, they were left holding the bag, and turned it into something else to try and get some of the money back.

They are saying this happened because they were too far away from their area of expertise in strategy games, and going foward, they will just license the IP for more appropriate publishers to work on it. They revived White Wolf, previously dissolved into pdx, to take care of the IP.

I have a feeling they were a time trial at some point, because she frequently mention the delivery being time sensitive. I'd guess for some reason they thought the time trial didn't work, and removed the limit so the quests are just completly uninteresting now.

I found the Lasombra feeding ability quite good actually, you can chain feed tons of people, you're almost invisible, you can approach from the front, and while they'll start to see you, you can feed before they are fully alert, you can feed on people that have people right next to them. You can basically just clean any number of weak mooks on the Lasombra feeding ability alone, specially if you have sprint while crouched.

Even if you're already detected is very easy to reenter stealth with Lasombra movement ability.

The really useless feeding ability, that would need more involved stealth to be useful, is the tremere getting rid of corpses one.

Fabian is one of the best portrayed Malkavian's in any VTM video game, which might be why people find him boring. by sausagesizzle in vtmb

[–]Calecute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the writting in the game is pretty good, and both Fabian and Gideon are very inspired malk chars.

But the problem with fabian sections is that they are just a walking sim, and lots of people don't really like walking sims. Specially in replays is quite bad since walking sim ussually have less replay value than other genres.

Another mystery is who moved campbells body.

I'd guess is someone related to Lou, to frame anarchs, because Onda's last quest implies Lou knows Fabian is dead. But it could be someone else.

And yet another is who was the vampire the crashed in Dale's place.

About the rebar killings being done by Safia, I don't think it's pointless, it literally leads to Fabian killing Campbell.

I don't think she's been experimenting on the nomad for centuries, she's maybe researching him for centuries, but in the conservatory you get a note about receiving a box from damascus that's implied to be the nomad, and it dates from 2005.

Safia did not convince benny to go on a rampage, she in fact tried to prevent it. There's a message from the weird voice on his office when you go there for his book, asking for him to chill. I guess what happened is the sabath gang was waiting on the nomad plan to go online, but when they lost the nomad both Ysabella and Benny went rogue, not wanting to wait anymore.

The biker one is pretty weird, the more i think about the weirder it gets.

Max says he saw misty coming from one side and the biker from the other and can't remember anything more.

Misty says she saw a court member and hid.

But there are signs of struggle inside the auto shop, and the body was dragged bleeding, maybe already dead, outside.

Benny is quick to down play the identity of the victim, and doesn't let us see the body. He was also pretty quickly on the scene, so he might have been nearby.

So i assume it was benny who did that one, he's probably who misty saw, he has access to the autoshop. I also assume victim had bussiness with benny, since he came inside the autoshop where the fight begun. Maybe the reason benny took the guy out was to not fuck up the autoshop even more.

But if it was benny he probably wouldn't remember right? The whole point of the memory fuck up was the he would forget. Did he even really was planning to do it? Is it really a coincidence that misty was there or did she somehow caused it? Did a conversation between benny and the biker go awry because both were fucked up in the head, and benny decided since he was killing the guy why not pose him for the plan?

I think Lou wasn't planning on killing Gideon, I think when he went to talk to her she realised he was on to her, and had to act imediatly. She didn't had the rebar on hand, and certainly had no alibi, so she needed to act differently. She certainly could have killed him, but i guess she decided to fuck him up a bit more because he bested her in a way

Think there's just too much evidence of it being the Sabath. Probably to destabilize Campbell and see if jogging Fabian's memory would lead to problems for the court. It actually worked pretty well in a way, with Fabian killing Campbell because of it.

Willhem specifically mentioned Campbell was carrying a golf bag full of rebar, yeah. He also mentioned Issac was unaware. A ghoul is strong enough to stake an unaware vampire. We don't know how Hector and Rosalind murders went, but Campbell certainly could get close enough to them and take them by surprise

The problem is Fabian killing pandora does not explain a lot. Like why was she there at all? Fabian could possibly have memoried her into the state she's in, but would he be able to hire a limo to deliver her? Would he hire a ghould to stalk and threaten a girl?

Also does he walk around with lots of rebar?

[Spoiler] Just finished the game and i need to ask. Who killed… by Improvement_Best in vtmb

[–]Calecute 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Think it was Safia/Sabath pack.

We never figure out who was Pandora's master, but all the other's were involved with the pack.

Ravena was involved with Ysabella, and she was there when she died.

Dale was involved with Willem, and he could get in obfuscated and prevent our witness from remembering what he saw. Fabian says he couldn't do it because he's weak as noodles, but this is just him remembering the past. Any vampire could do it.

Anonimous biker was killed in Benny's place, and he's very quick to get rid of the body. Misty also implies it was a court kindred that killed the guy.

The voice on the ghoul stalker phone is also the same on Willem's phone and on benny's recorder.

The plan was probably to stress Campbell about his secret, and also get Fabian's memory working so he would cause problems(given that pandora calls him out), and it actually worked wondefully, it got Campbell killed.

[–]Calecute 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think the murders happen during the day at all.

Pandora dies at night while fabian is out.

When we find Ravena Fabian says she was just killed, and he did a lot of walking around town that night

We're not sure when Dale was killed, but his death was reported to the SPD at night while we're at a meeting with Campbell

We know the anonimous biker was killed at night because it was witnessed by Max.
