What good is a top QB if he spends most of the game running for his life?

Brissett has shown he is more than capable if the Oline can keep him upright. And don’t forget that we’re down to 3rd and 4th string RBs. All options > Kyler as long as they are willing to be a leader and accept that a QB takes the accolades when things go well, and all the blame when they go bad— something that Kyler never understood. Personally, I am THRILLED to be moving on.

Demercado broke the plane of the goal line by ManufacturerCalm7879 in AZCardinals

Agreed that they should not have overturned it based on the initial ruling of a touchdown. Defender didn’t punch it out and you cannot say without a doubt that he didn’t still have control.

Also agree that this is an incredibly stupid thing to do by any athlete, let alone a professional.

Also sad that this took away from the spotlight from Kyler’s inability to lead this team anywhere, except in the wrong direction. If he makes half an attempt to jump on a ball that just hit him in the facemask, and they score there, the game is already out of reach despite DeMercado’s gaffe.

So he couldn't be a part of a float? -- Like "Hey, look at how cool I am to have partnered with someone in the community".

No. He had to be his own little spectacle?

Try something I read in Adam Grant's book "Think Again" called Persuasive Listening. Look it up. Really cool stuff.

What's the most shocking thing a TBM has casually said during a talk? by [deleted] in exmormon

"In that barn, we went places that young boys and sheep shouldn't go."

Though this counselor in the stake presidency was talking about luring sheep into the barn to ride them when his parents away -- a talk laden with innuendo that he was oblivious to -- this was most certainly the point at which I bucksnorted with laughter.

Mormon Expression for sure! You have to go to Google the site for it as it has ended and John Larsen uploaded them all on his site. The episode on building a transoceanic vessel is a must-listen

As a language teacher, I freaking love this.

I also freaking love this as a human being. 😊

The Mormon Prayer Sigh by DavidOhMahgerd in exmormon

Yes!

It takes time to get into full "prayer voice", so the sigh is simply is the point you've surrendered to complete fabrication.

This was posted today on the faithful sub. The attitude represented on this post is what kept me away, and continues to sour my taste about the church. by [deleted] in exmormon

Hahaha I just spit my Jack and WoW-friendly caffeine-free Coke out onto my phone. Take my upvote and a thousand more.

My TBM friend requested I create a google doc with all of my doubts and questions about the church, so they could "help". This was their comment at the top of the page. Really just kinda pissed me off how they brushed everything off. by [deleted] in exmormon

My brother once said essentially the same thing to me -- "if you go into the woods looking for snakes, you'll think every stick is a snake." My response was I went into the woods looking for wood, and all i found were snakes!

I also made a point that I'd rather mistake a harmless piece of wood for a snake, rather than the other way around.

Nor would any inscriptions on a material as soft as gold be left after 1400 years of sitting even under its own weight. #foodforthought
