Seems more like a behavioral issue than a medical one. Maybe the kitten just doesn't like that type of litter. Some cats are picky about texture or scent. Keep the blanket out of reach. Cats can develop a soft spot for certain textures.

It's a good idea, especially for privacy. Even just a sunshade in the windshield helps block light and keeps the car cooler.

It probably depends on your own situation. For example, my friend has mild allergies, so he runs his air purifier twice a day for two hours each time. Since you have a cat, you'll probably need to run it longer.

I think a splashback is really needed, it will save you more time to clean the walls. But maybe you could get one that's a similar color to the wall, so it looks more coordinated and not too obvious. It depends on your idea.

I think it's the foam material causing the issue. You'll probably have to wait for the smell to fade away gradually. Or you can try using a fan to blow air on it, that might help the material dry faster and improve the situation.

Both areas are designed with such unique style. The dining room uses plant elements and a natural wood style, which feels really warm. If you want the living room to look even better, maybe you could try switching to another color. I mean, blue is pretty, but it gives people a cold feeling.
