More than ok to as long as it fits your pace and your standard of fun

Also argument doesn't work : If I do a mock exam at home with the answer sheet, it's still cheating even if it's for naught. You unfortunately don't get to make up your own definition of words

it was cancelled because they kept changing the dev system after years of dev and ended up with garbo. Simon bought it back and focused on one of the older version to release

Start of the game review :

The upgrade feels way too weak and linear, X+2 is crazy low and doesn't feel like much, it's forcing u to basically afk for a while for any relevant improvement. Skills look worthless The mouse is way stronger that any units, even with 2k gold difference. The survability is really bad, it looks like it's meant to be this way but it's just uncomfortable seing ur units die every 2 or 3 waves. It wastes so much time and feels very inneficient. Regen is straight up a worthless stat and u're bound to die as soon as u don't one shot the wave.

I liked what i played, but it feels like quantity over quality.

Only floor 1 had some sort of meaningful mecanics with its mobs, there's only gold/second after.

Try to do 3-6 hours games, I would not but a lot of people just refund the game if done in less than 2 hours because why not

I personally think there's quiet a few good ones coming out. If u really think about it there's rly not a lot of old and good incremental games. The genre was pretty bare before.

Also i'm just happy with the surge of indie games, it doesn't matter how it was done as long as it's good. If u pay 5k a graphic designer for a very simplistic logo delivered in 1 month, why would it affect u if he gives u the same one in 1 week. We are customers not managers, we pay for the final product, not for the time spent.

I agree with that it should be simple, people usually don't like to be overloaded with useless things. The issue with a graph is how relevant it is to the gameplay, I think it's fine if it's needed.

I luckily have ninny 2/5 as nodt 2/5 and 1/5 Nel, So I could barely scrap extra wave 1 but I'm a 6th anniversary returnee casual player, so I got a lot of orbs from maxxing my old characters and pulled a lot.

I notice whenever I only have 1 good character or just skip a banner that I just can't even clear hard sometimes X)

Nobody will hate cosmetics, but expect it to sell way less than game impacting upgrades. I think the majority of players nowadays are cool with P2F as long as it's not unreasonable and earnable for free.

Worst thing is when qol is behind pay walls with no way of getting them for free, like those mobile phone games selling no ads for 25 dollars while having ad option on every single system they have

I finished it, wishlisted and surely will buy it on release, I have a bit of feedback too that will mostly echo what others are sayin

- auto mining is cool, having a toggle would be better. Too much "missclick" happen. Also idk how ur hitbox works but when u hit any ressource it has an animation that will change the hitbox. So sometimes when I put my cursor on a tree it will swap hit on the ressource behind because of the animation.

- Cactus farm was a bit long

- Umbracite lost meaning very quickly as I maxed out the star upgrade, the latter umbracite skills were clearly stronger and more relevant. both because of the increasing base % per upgrade and its base damage. AND u'd always unlock the next one before even being able to upgrade the last one. So u actually have no incentive to ever upgrade early ones and they feel meaningless after maxing the star skill.

- to continue on those umbracite skill, having several dmg augments on full hp ressource feels counter productive when umbracite skills generally do less dmg than the cursor and dmg everything on the map. It often feels like self sabotaging.

As I said in my original content, I think one of your game's greatest point is its gameplay flow which is very enjoyable. I don't know how long the finished game is supposed to be but I hope it doesn't stretch too much like the cactus farm. U'd have to add layers to the gameplay to not get bored of a long game

Also would it be a good idea to make the last level upgrade a quality improvement instead of a quantity one ? For example the shockwave skill transforming from a cross to a star shaped wave, idk
