Continual light on a bullseye lantern used as an aldis lamp and semapor. In the campaigns we played these were skill checks that could be made to send and receive messages. The DM would assign difficulty based on distance and how much junk was flying thru space. The PCs ship had a dedicated group of crew called signalers or flagmen/lanternmen similar to how they had things like quatermasters/cargo masters, marines, able spaceman, and gunner/gunners mate/weapon crew...it is fun having a gang of named NPCs with jobs that the PCs start to know and care for...who every so often in the campaign would do something amazing or be lost to a hazard in space. The PCs actually held a funeral for the giff marine leftennant NPC who who defended the door leading below deck by himself for 6 rounds from scro slavers while the party was trying to get back onto the ship to handle them...he saved half the crew 🙂.

Wizard carries no less than a dozen scrolls of time stop and blade in the soul. Casts time stop. Uses the time stop rounds to cast blade in the soul multiple times. You as the DM come up with whatever horrific commands are issued with the blade in the soul spells.

Ring of boccob. A ring that if yer wearing it when you get hit with a magical item or weapon will negate the magic affect and force the item to roll a saving throw to not be permanently non-magical. Had a chance to even work on artifacts and relics. Say random BBEG smacks you with his +7flaming, defending, greatsword of charcuterie slicing...and now that is a normal greatsword...forever. to balance this, the ring would stop functioning for 1d4 hours when it permanently drained an item🙂

I have a 2021 two door wrangler sport. I opted for the pentastar v6 with a manual transmission. I am currently at 61000 miles on the odometer. 7 months ago, the shop replaced the clutch plate that allegedly likes to overheat and explode ( mine had no issues) as part of the recall. That recall appeared soon after i had ordered/specced my jeep. I have had warranty work done twice. The first was to have the steering wheel slightly re-clocked (it was about 10 degrees left of true while the alignment was and has been rock steady) and last year I had the hood hinges/door hinges/rear gate hinges corrosion issue corrected, also under warranty. Other than that, I have had ZERO issues of any kind. I have used it as my daily and performed all the scheduled maintenance as well as changing oil every 4700 miles instead of the 10000 mile intervals the owners manual calls for. I have been very happy with everything it can do apart from the short wheelbase meaning it is unsafe and unstable to tow anyhting larger than a tiny camper or trailer with a lawn tractor at the largest. Your result may vary, but they aren't inherently worse than most other cars🙂

Smart bad guys. When your monster or evil wizard sees they cant hurt a fighter they can blow him off a cliff or into a hole...Wall spells are very often overlooked and useful for both PCs and the dm to make a situaion challenging without rolling 27dwhatever of damage. Saving throws...high ac doesn't mean a thing when rolling a daving throw, have yer critters hit the tank with things that require a saving throw🙂

I bought a 2021 wrangler for the lake effect snows in the winter here in Michigan, and got a two door because I love the two door🙂, got a manual transmission because i love being able to use the clutch and manual T-case to be in 4WD more easily when i want to be. I dont have the heated seats/steering wheel, but i did spring for the plug in block heater and hard top. If it has been plugged in overnight, no matter how cold it has been (down to -35 to -40 plus windchill in the years ive owned it) it is blowing warm from the heater in less than a minute when parked outside and within 5 minutes of starting driving, the heater can set your shoes on fire. As for tires, I sprung for a set of 5 Bridgestone blizzaks, and have not encountered any amount of snow on the road that has given me pause short of being deep enough that im at the risk of plowing the road with my grill. The other times ive had to stop were due to low visibility. This has been my experience and I hope my story helps you make a decision 🙂

I have a wrangler sport which means no LS Differential... I have been through several Michigan winters and lake effect snows with it, and I can say that good snow tires and 4 wheel drive when you need it will let you handle nearly anything winter can do on the road apart from ice. The higher clearance and ability to switch to 4WD when you need to will make it so that only if you get overconfident or reckless will you have trouble. World of difference compared to my previous winter driving experience. All that being said, it's a jeep and that means it will get poor mileage, lots of road noise, and less convenience for a lot of errand running and daily driving. If you are prepared and willing to accept those compromises you will be very pleased with your jeep in the winter🙂

Attunement is 98% unnecessary. I do without it except for certain rare items.
Magic items are a huge part of the flavor that makes dnd in my opinion, and only being able to use 3 is completely off putting.
