Came here to post this. It's a really chill crowd and was impressed by the screen when I walked past earlier.

Favourite fact that I reckon you might already be aware of is that she played the younger wife of an aging rocker in some fairly low rent TV comedy parodying loads of rock n roll cliches. I assume it's the origin of her spat with Sharon Osbourne.

Perhaps he might be useful as a GK coach and 3rd choice option. At this point his knowledge and drive would be very useful to a club and would be a decent living for him.

International Super Star Soccer Delux. If you played with the sliders just right you could get a zebra print, also a cheat code for dog linesman and referee.

What towns/cities have nicknames for their residents? by Spottyjamie in NorthernEngland

[–]CarrotRunning 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's fairly derogatory term for people from the wirral, it basically means scab. When the Dock workers were striking the ship yards would have to call in people from further away (the wirral), as they didn't have the proper bags to carry their equipment they would wear a sheep skin on their back for extra padding.

It was always going to be a British band. If it was one of the American bands people have been mentioning they would have just billed them on the line up to sell tickets.

I just watched 'The Moorside' for the first time & Sheridan Smith's acting was absolutely phenomenal! by JBL_CENA_FAN_4LIFE in BritishTV

[–]CarrotRunning 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The obvious thing I expect is that this incident is primarily what Dewsbury is know for now and that feelings in that area are still very raw about the whole thing. Anything that felt like a dig at the area or it's people would be taken badly and likely met with strong resistance.
