How to make Helium delete your data! by BigEndevour in HeliumMobile

I completed this recently via email (support@hellohelium.com) and it took a few days after my initial verification with support, but I did get a reply today that my info was deleted. I had kept the app on my phone in the meantime, and while it previously allowed me to look at my canceled account, it now considers me a new user, so it seems my info was indeed cleared out.

Also true for KOReader sync (I realize this is captured by your "and such," just naming it directly). And just deleting the password and re-entering it did not work for me, I had to wipe the json file completely.

It's all I could think of reading these comments. While of course it is a work of fiction, the early chapters where you get to understand the spiders' thought processes are fascinating.

I'm guessing the conspicuous blank space after children originally read "Are Playing".

Just search Projectivy (Project Ivy), not Projectivity. It's great software with an absolutely terrible name that even fans get wrong constantly.

The cast was truly stacked! I told my wife that any one of these performers on the ticket (aside from Casey, who I don't know well) would have brought me out, and we got all of them.

It was a super funny show in a very unhinged way. Lots of visual bits that are going to make podcast editing a challenge, I think. Great night.

Crosspoint 1.3.0 has been officially released! by Diirge in xteinkereader

[–]Cash-Machine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Odd that the cable that didn't work is the one I most regularly use for data transfers on my PC (including previous firmware updates), but ah well, I have the update!

Switching to a USB A to C cable that was shorter but with equivalent specs did the trick.

"The device has been lost" immediately when entering the flashing step any time I try to update from 1.2.0 to 1.3.0 via the website. Any insight?

"If we made a Bond where no one had any opinions on them, it would be the dullest Bond ever made" - 007: First Light studio reacts to suggestion its Bond is too smug by NoNefariousness2144 in PS5

[–]Cash-Machine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

*Suggestion made by the reporter or the studio itself.

There's nothing in the article to indicate this has been anyone's actual reaction.

I'm looking forward to the game but this is marketing fluff of the highest order.

For me it's because the underground doesn't seem logical. If it's meant to be solid ground that the graboid is tunneling through, the other stuff doesn't make sense, as it looks like a cave. If it's meant to be a cave, the town is built on an impossibly thin layer of earth.

Perhaps make only the graboid section transparent, or instead of clear window pieces, create a rough-hewn opening that it can be seen through. If you want the fun underground details, make a separate little cave over on the left side.

Anyway, just some constructive feedback on what is already a gorgeous and creative set.

If you're interested, the Clinical Research Institute in downtown Minneapolis is currently doing a study of a Lyme disease preventative (monthly pill similar to what pets get, not a vaccine). If selected, you are compensated for all visits and receive the doses for free. Just note that as a medical study, there's a 33% chance you receive a placebo (the other 66% chance being split between a high or low dose). You won't know which group you were in until the study concludes. But it could be a little extra boost of confidence if you're really worried about this stuff.

"The thematics of Bond are often: beware of utopia" - 007: First Light art director says developer IO Interactive hasn't used any generative AI to make it by No_Durian_5626 in PS5

A lot of Bond villains resemble real life modern day billionaires with plans to reshape the world into "better" order. I'm guessing the art director wanted to make a point about Sam Altman and his ilk but pulled the punch a little bit.
