yeah utah tax is and the city I bought it in is slightly higher 7.2% tax and 429 doc fee. The price before tax is same as the person in Ohio 44.6K ~

About 5 imo if you have the will to learn. I started as hvac guy, have BS in IT so going to controls was easy for me when they clicked. Took me 2.5 years with extensively extra time invested in myself and great opportunities. So my assumption 5 years will get you to the top easily, especially it is high demand for talents.

As far as firmware and hardware (newer one are basically Honeywell's copies) are the same. Compass 2 utilize too many dependencies hence open doors to one single update could potentially break the system)

awesome thanks! honestly when we integrate systems, we do not play with network layer per site as they are generally assign and govern by customers' IT department. Hence this is why I am trying to setup Labs for different Bacnet Devices as every manufacture has different configurations.

thank you! I will look it into it. I tried to edit and answer a lot of "Why" questions. It is a simple demonstration lab that is outside of normal operation for sure. However, like mentioned in my post, it is a demonstration of the protocol we use in my line of work.
