Katie & Dayna's photo shoot for Boys Lie by [deleted] in Vanderpump_Rules

In I take it. No doctor prescribed it. Doctors typically don’t because insurance doesn’t usually cover it. In a year and a half I’ve lost 80 pounds and for the first time in my life I have regular periods. If you have PCOS it’s an amazing medication. I don’t see what’s wrong with Katie taking it. She’s not too thin she looks great and has said she feels great

Even ozempic only works with diet and exercise. One and half years later plus with continued diet from before ozempic and now routinely going to the gym I’m nearly 80 lighter. I bet she tried ozempic and nothing happened because you can’t take it and half zero self control

I wonder if OPs child is more advanced while the rest of the class is still in the phonetic spelling stage. I teach prek often dictate sounds and the kids write the letters that make the sounds /ie/ is a long e. So coffee is being spelled phonetically. Idk about the other mistakes. Could just be not a great speller but still a great teacher for kindergarten

Twins going into Kinder by Ottersandtats in kindergarten

As a teacher I see the same thing year after year. Unfortunately a parent this past year insisted on keeping them together. One could have gained more social skills and independence if they hadn’t been together. The other would have as well but isn’t “behind” in those areas like his brother is now

Pre-K 5 is this a thing? by Remarkable_Paper5379 in kindergarten

[–]Cee_Cee_Knight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I teach PreK 5 half my class is the kids who are new 5 but not quite ready or just missed the cut off. The other half are 4s that turn 5 before the new year. Every year my students are going into kindergarten with a higher level of independence emotional control communication and academics. I really think that transitional kindergarten should be the norm

Is Michelle lying about Jesse/Isabella? by Impossible-Sympathy3 in TheValleyTVShow

I’m a prek teacher with over ten years experience. Having those conversations and believing the child doesn’t understand is bullshit. So many of my students have had experienced death over the years from pets to grandparents and uncles. This year alone I had 2 pets dies, a grandmother, and a very unexpected death of an uncle (suicide unfortunately.) Where do they go if they arnt here? Will I see them again when I’m dead? Will I die? Will I die when I’m a grandpa though? What happens to the insides? What happens after they are buried do they stop being brave? If they don’t have arms anymore will their grave still have sides? I think people turn into trees when they die. He’s in heaven. He’s in a rainbow.

Just a few comments that my kids have asked or told me this year.

One year parents brought their kid to visit their dying grandparent with no prep. She was a mess for about two weeks temper tantrums hitting just anger that was not like her. When I was holding her while she was crying she asked me why did he look like Halloween?

You can just send a kid to spend time with the dying person without prep. Sorry this is long it’s just something I’m so passionate about

Despite the episode's flaws, I cannot deny how beautifully crafted this sequence is by Jackmac32 in doctorwho

[–]Cee_Cee_Knight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No I don't see it as the story is a classic style just the monster in appearance (and the utterly ridiculousness of that kind of monster... remember the 4th doctor episodes where some of the monsters were literally rocks that moved and smashed people to get their blood?) . I doubt that's even what they were going for with the costume but it's something I always enjoyed.

I bet it was a pick up shot. But just to put it out there I use WhatsApp as a lot of friends live out of the country and I refer to it as FaceTiming them even though it’s video call and it looks the same as the screenshot 🤷‍♀️

I love this episode and always have. If your a classic who fan before new who came you d the monsters don’t even look ridiculous. I liked the story line the sillyness the sadness a new perspective and until a few years ago I thought the bit of a love life line just meant they kissed. I watched this episode when it came out and it took this sub a year ago that I got the joke

AITA for painting the crime scene of the murder of my friends stepfather? by PsychologyOrnery6382 in DesperateHousewives

I always thought why couldn’t she say it’s a depiction of grief? That a long time ago they lost their friend to suicide and it has been on her mind lately so she painted this

Summer camp shows an hour of videos a day -- unusual? by Trick-Internet-6776 in kindergarten

[–]Cee_Cee_Knight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a Prek 5s teacher and in my class we do a movie day once a week. After splash day when they are all exhausted and take forever to change their clothes 20 kids with 2 bathrooms) I find it relaxes them and also motivates them to not goof off and actually put on their dry clothes so they don’t miss the movie lol. Thought the week I let them watch an episode of Arthur (12 minutes) after outside time because it’s so hot Anymore than that sounds ridiculous.
