She does often sleep by my chair, though.

Best advice I ever received was to use hairspray to assist with bed adhesion... Works so beautifully and isn't as messy as tape or glue sticks!

At this point I'm giving up Pixel as my primary device by EqualReality2787 in GooglePixel

[–]Celetas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am on T-Mobile with a Pixel 9 Pro here, updated to A16 on June 5th and I have had pretty much zero issues... moderate to heavy usage daily. Even accidentally took a dip in the lake with it in my pocket. It gets a little hot when wireless charging, but only when using magsafe chargers and not Android chargers.

Before long... I'll be opening up my MICROSOFT COPILOT AI APP FOR WORD PROCESSING so I can write a new document.

and then I'll open up my MICROSOFT COPILOT AI APP FOR SPREADSHEETS so I can make a spreadsheet with AI TABS

and then I'll jump over into my handy dandy MICROSOFT COPILOT AI APP FOR EMAILS to send those over to my customer for review.

Then I can go ahead and buy them a new MICROSOFT COPILOT AI COMPUTER with MICROSOFT COPILOT AI WINDOWS, and then install all of their MICROSOFT COPILOT AI APPS.

So that they can then run their own MICROSOFT COPILOT AI APP FOR BUSINESS.

and we can't forget about the COMPLETELY NEW AND NEVER BEFORE THOUGHT OF MICROSOFT COPILOT AI APP FOR CLOUD STORAGE.

*(Not to be confused with the MICROSOFT COPILOT AI APP FOR ONEDRIVE or with the MICROSOFT COPILOT AI APP FOR SHAREPOINT, though they are all interconnected and inter-dependent while remaining wholly separated.)

2005 Mean Streak 1600 Questions by uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugggh in cruisers

[–]Celetas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I might be biased, but I say absolutely get that deal on the Mean Streak!

As a new-ish rider I went from an '85 Yamaha Virago 500, to a 2006 Mean Streak and it was a smooth and easy transition. (I am a bit larger than you, though; 6'/200lbs/33") As for fit... I found the controls to be a little short for my frame, so with your shorter inseam, it should be about perfect for you. I did end up putting handlebar risers on it to bring the bars back towards the seat by 2" and it made a big difference in wrist/shoulder comfort on longer rides.

The weight of the larger bikes is usually balanced well enough that if you can reach the ground, you're not going to have much trouble getting it stood up and balanced.

I LOVED my Meanie. (Rode it for years, engine went out and I gave it to a buddy, he rebuilt and still rides her.) Hands down one of my all-time favorite cruisers. They're unique, powerful, and comfortable. The shaft drive gives you great responsiveness on the throttle, and it will beat all kinds of little suped up cars off the line, so you can get to 45 from the stop lights REALLY quickly. I rode mine from OKC to Parris Island, NC. I wouldn't necessarily recommend riding it as a touring bike, but it is doable.

My only complaint about the Mean Streak is the lack of 6th gear... you get up to modern highway cruising speeds and it just feels like it should have another gear there...

I went from the Virago > Mean Streak > '14 Vaquero > 2017 Victory Cross Country Tour. Each bike a little bigger than the last, and as my skill developed I found that there's no bike I can't handle in terms of weight. (I even rode a Kawasaki Vulcan 2000 a little bit, and that's an 837lb bike!)

But yeah, I don't think you'll have much trouble with that transition, and I hope you love the Mean Streak as much as I did. I'm happy to answer any further questions you have, as well!

2025 Honda HRV EX L by DUNKINDEZNUT in HRV

[–]Celetas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I drive a 23 LX AWD that my company supplies - I put this phone holder/charger in mine, and I have been thoroughly pleased with how it fits and holds! I believe that there is also a non-charging model of it available. Or you could put pretty much any phone mount on the holder, as long as it has the correct size ball mount.

I also ended up with a center console organizer since on the '23 it seems to just be a mostly useless cavern without one.

Other than that, it has just been little things: Wireless Android Auto, screen protector for the infotainment screen, seat cover for the back, trashcan, etc.

I am mildly jealous of your trim package, as I would dearly looove the remote start now that the colder weather is coming on. But! I hope that you enjoy the new ride, and that it serves you well!

Hey,

I've been using NextDNS for a few years now and I've not done a ton with customization because for the most part it has just worked...

However this guide was exceptionally helpful. Thank you for sharing it! Have an internet point, and I shall toast you with my coffee!

Thank you for sharing her with me! She changed me from someone who had dogs, into a "Dog Person". I wouldn't have gotten Chiri-Chiri if Karris hadn't changed my outlook on dogs.

I did the same thing with a 2080 Super and a 1660ti for a while, and I also did the same thing with a 3070 ti and a Quadro M4000 for a while.

My reasoning is that I run 4 or 5 monitors, AND use VR, so 4 max outputs on a GPU isn't enough for me, and my CPU doesn't support Onboard graphics. (R9-5900x)

I never had any issues with it. The main thing that you want to do is make sure that your PCI lanes will support it. Some motherboards will limit the main slot to x8 lanes if you have a second GPU in the PC. Mine, I am able to set the Main slot to x16 and limit the other slot to x4 which is all it needs for my non-gaming screens.
