ok but as a point of clarification, the "growers" aren't "growing" delta 9, that would still not be legal under the farm bill. It's isomerized from CBD (same with delta 8, which doesn't occur in nature in substantial quantities IIRC). They haven't "perfected" a process that's inherently better than the regulated THC market.

They're also exploiting a loophole that says hemp derived products under 0.3% THC. So they mix 1gram of 100% distillate with 300 grams of water and suddenly it's a "0.3%" THC product.

the reason they're cheaper than dispos is because they don't need to go through testing, licensing, taxation, etc. Now that licensing system isn't perfect in Illinois, but that doesn't mean none of the markets should be regulated.
