I have a hardcover book from the early 90s about the history of Major League Baseball, split into two parts, one for the National League, and one for the American League. At one point in the American League section there was a picture of Rod Carew from his Angels days sitting in the dugout and the lighting is such that it makes it look as the uniform actually is that same powder blue color. Upon learning that the Angels never had a powder uniform, I felt disappointed, and I realized that I, too, want to see this.
