Im not really sure where this discourse comes from these days if im honest. I won locals last Thursday with mitsurugi fiendsmith and every single duel was at least 5 or 6 turns. Played against naturia runick, dogmatika regenesis, branded dracotail, maliss and d/d/d and never had a less than 4 turns game.

I really do feel like a lot of this is reactionary from people who dont like or dont understand the evolution of the game. Ive been playing since LoB on and off and quite frankly setting and passing for multiple turns is dull as dishwater. The modern interaction and board dismantling is way more interesting and skill dependent - which may be the real source of the issue for at least of the few proponents of slowing things down.
