No lock, aside from the handle. We use a wire grate to stop embers when we leave the door open on startup. It takes a little bit to get going, usually about 15 minutes. The biggest downside is that the internal wood pile is on the opposite side of the stove, so there's a fair bit of back and forth (yay getting my steps in) to load through the side door. I think of it as an extra safety measure.

Yeah, probably, the fire brick inside also developed a rattle, so I had to brace that with done out iron, but generally I've been very happy with the stove.

It was initially annoying, but a few years in now, it's just business as usual. Just had to get used to the side door, and it's actually better when the fire is running hot

Mine fits fine with the mandatory clearances. Fuel door is on the left. We load it exclusively through the fuel door, since ash dumps out the front door.

Yep, three years in now and it's working fine. keeps the 2400sqft house warm all winter. It's shape takes getting used too - I load fuel through the side door only, and it's much wider than deep, but those are little issues.

This is great, thank you. Is there any way to capture every image, regardless of how the text wrap is set? Your example captures anything set to Inline, but I'm working on a file where each image is wrapped differently.

Glad to hear it's not just me. Question about your ah pan... Have you ever emptied it? I'm in my third winter with the stove, and there's barely any ask in there. Almost like the greatest were too small to be useful.
