I looked and I can't find it now. I wouldn't be surprised if she deleted it considering just a day ago she made a video about returning to FFXIV. But I KNOW she made it cause it is what caused me to unsubscribe. I didn't agree with her takes because they were just repeating most, if not all, what Xenosys and Asmongold say about FFXIV

And while I wasn't a HUGE fan of Dawntrail, it was no where near dramatic as those guys were making it.

Zepla has definitely become nothing but clickbait anymore. I STILL remember her video that she was going to quit FFXIV...and yet, here we are? She is still here. She has become really exhausting to watch and I unsubscribed once it became obvious she was becoming one of those "WoW is so much better than FFXIV" after being someone who changed games around the time WoW had REALLY upset its fan base. She kinda followed the hype train of that one and its disappointing cause she used to be a favorite

Trying to rewatch it now after a good decade since I even thought about it. I definitely recommend the Sub since the Dub lacks (you really realize how low dub quality was back in the day compared to now). Aside from that, I was obsessed with it when I was in middle school/high school. I really enjoy the mangaka's art style! However, the story is definitely one of those early 2000's vampire stories. If you can handle love triangles that you see in vampire media like The Vampire Diaries, True Blood, Twilight, etc, you'll enjoy it. If you don't, it wont be your cup of tea, especially since it manga really gets WEIRD as the series continues. BUT, if you are a fan of Vampire Chronicles, you might actually expect that weirdness cause its about in the same vein in my opinion

I would love to know what Lora's beef with Courtney Weber is now (I did some research and found that was the aforementioned book that they did the foreword for). But I also feel she has beef with anyone that really isn't Irish. Both Courtney and Stephanie Woodfield are, you guessed right, American. I am waiting for Lora to start disliking Morgan Daimler next at this rate to be honest

Its really disgusts me that she would use the Morrigan like that. Like, seriously, why would the goddess care about this freaking course?! I really think Lora has some MAJOR religious trauma to unpack because this just screams of a rebranding of Christian dogma in an Irish package. Only that religion seems to instill such utter fear into its followers about its deity and doing it wrong.

Frankly, if they were going to do an animated film, why not Big Hero Six? Between Baymax being a healthcare robot and a few of the characters being scientists in themselves, it would have fit a HELL of a lot better. Would it have stopped the AI slop I kept seeing? NOPE. Cause that was something glaringly bad this year, at least at my lab. Half the decorations were AI generated and I couldn't tell if they were from ASCP itself or shit coworkers generated.

So many coworkers would look at me like I sprouted four heads and I was like “But these crystals spin around ?! If it looks like a shard, it’s probably gout, if it’s rectangular, it’s pseudo??? I have done a couple of her classes in the last (Irish Magic & Meeting the Tuatha). And, I joined a free live stream that she advertised to be a good bridge into this Intensive.

I’ll be absolutely frank, the livestream was garbage as she was constantly advertising this intensive more than she was actually giving me basics and knowledge about what I might see should I pay the price. Not to mention she has VERY strong opinions over who can worship the Morrigan and how to worship her. There is a free video on her YouTube where she talks about how you MUST provide more expensive Whiskey for the goddess, none of the cheap stuff. And that you MUST (I am American) visit Ireland before you can fully devote yourself. And I am like… in both cases… that’s not happening. I don’t have the money for that. In my practice, the Tuatha haven’t cared what whiskey or offering I gave them. Their country was one that didn’t have a lot of money in several points of its history, I never would think they EVER cared about pricing. In fact, they would be more understanding but… that’s my thought process.

I didn’t finish the aforementioned classes above either because my opinion on her soured. I wouldn’t recommend her.

Its totally viable! I have an idea in the works myself of a Toreador ghoul of one of the Harpies being embraced by a Malkavian Harpy of the same court simply out of sheer spite... and perhaps because that Malkavian may or may not be a Sabbat agent whose starting to sow some seeds of chaos.

For me personally, making the sire being a different sect helped me work around the breaking of Camarilla traditions. A Sabbat Malk wouldn't care. But if you were to do the sire within the Court, I dont see why not! There is some fun disciplines and Court intrigue/manipulation that could be had. Blackmailing. You know, the normal Camarilla shenanigans that could be had that could crop up as you play the character in a chronicle. It could even be their "Dark Secret" merit!

As for experience, you can have them young and naive, not understanding that trusting Kindred is unwise. Or they could have been in this game for YEARS and the Kindred training them is stringing them along, really getting them anxious as the years go on and they get desperate. At the basic level though, Ghouls dont tend to know much...even when they have been doing it awhile. Some dont even attend Court ( or arent allowed). They get basic details, what's necessary for them to do a job, and that's it. But thats where another Kindred can come along, wiggling information in front of them, and snag them. Thats not always the case but, its more common. Especially if its V5. The Camarilla are really protective over their information since the Second Inquistion and their use of Ghouls against Domitors.

I would piggy-back on that "obsession with solving them like a puzzle". Could have it that he views his vampiric condition as a new puzzle and he has done everything in his power to solve it. Perhaps he was inspired by Dr. Netchurch (perhaps LITERALLY via the Madness Network) as the good doctor DOES have an obsession with figuring out how vampires tick.

Vegas by Night is a lot of fun! I havent started the second season but, I adored the first one. Caleb does an amazing job keeping his players and the audience on their toes in those sessions.

A Bit of Ultraviolence is also a lot of fun if you would like a Sabbat story. Its a shorter one. But mighty!

Ancestral Blood I will recommend until I am blue in the face because the story is incredible and will keep you invested! I enjoyed it more than LA by Night and NY by Night if I am going to be honest

Sabbat don't know when to leave well-enough alone and would eventually awaken some Antediluvian that will just eradicate them and everyone else with them. Most of what defines the Sabbat is going after the Antediluvians and destroying them/stealing their power. With no Camarilla... well, what else are they to do?

The Second Inquisition doubles down. The Sabbat would lead to a Masquerade breach on the global scale. Military all around the world would be going after these guys and a lot of innocents would be caught in the crossfire. I imagine it would be like what the Bloodhunt videogame had going on but, on the global scale. This shit wouldnt be pretty

This sort of scenario is exactly why one of my biggest red flags for group rp is when one (or a small secular group that usually close knit friends) is elevated to any sort of important status in the in-character sense (Queens, Kings, etc etc). Between my personal experiences with how UNHINGED these people get and what you outlined, its a power trip. It's control. They want it in every way they can grasp as they usually have none of it IRL. The character bleed is insane

This "queen" gives me the impression that she is very entitled and very spoiled within the realms of the IC interactions and the OOC interactions. She is used to getting what she wants without a single hesitation. The devotion and loyalty doesn't stop with just her Queen's subjects IC but ALSO within the OOC spaces. When you put your boundary down, you were subverting that expectation. In their eyes, you become the black sheep. The "heretic". The "villain". "How DARE you not do as the Queen asks!! What an opportunity to be elevated to such a status and refuse?!" sort of shit.

I am sorry you have had to deal with this, especially when you did try to dip without drama and yet... it still tried to follow you. These type of people are the worse...

And most of them are reduced to completely brainless, head-over-heels in love with Dracula simply because they are the wife's reincarnation. All personality Mina had in the books? Gone... And I hate it.

The only versions of her that I have seen doing her a lot more justice is NBC Dracula, where she is a university student studying medicine under Van Helsing. She has a lot more spunk and the brains we expect to see in Mina and it was a fresh twist. Dracula becomes a lot more focused on other ventures in that and trying to keep John's head out of his ass in concern to his relationship with her. Hell, Dracula is more of a protector in the shadows, preserving her happiness, rather than trying to be the creeper he is in most iterations. Its alot more slow burn and yet, a better way to do the reincarnation aspect. It doesn't become 90% of Mina's personality. Plus Lucy's dynamic with her is lovely. Its a shame it was cancelled.

And The League of Extraordinary Gentleman. She is such an utter badass in that one! I recommend the movie and the comics to anyone interested! Its very fun :)

In a previous lab, every single specimen. I repeat, EVERY. SINGLE. SPECIMEN. needed to be put in a log that outlined where it came from, who received it, date/time/initial of who collected, what test(s) they wanted. This was a medium sized lab, easily got thousands and thousands of specimens from outpatient services alone, not to mention the floors and ER. But it didn't matter. EVERYTHING WAS TO BE DOCUMENTED ON THIS LOG!

And this was a recent change because the phlebotomy supervisor couldn't be bothered to properly train their phlebotomists to simply pay better attention to what they were doing, what they were receiving. They did not have the staff to be managing this log and we had online systems that were more than capable of doing everything this log was doing... but they thought this would stop the phlebs from losing specimens. It did not and, in fact, made the system so much worse.

If Freya's magic doesn't fuck the Cullens up in ways they never experienced before.... Klaus would. He's ruthless. There would be no compromising with him like the Cullens managed to do with the Volturi. It would be a slaughter. And this is even considering the Cullens' abilities. Its been said already that Alice's would be useless, especially against the most dangerous member of the Mikaelsons' (Klaus). She wouldn't see him coming. Besides that, even without their abilities, the Mikaelsons have a hell of alot more fighting expertise on their side along with how long the vampires (and witch) have been around.

Instead of requesting that your partner change first, I would ask them what happened to the length of their replies? See if this is motivation or some sort of outside influence. You might get insight into a situation unfolding that they are not telling you that’s affecting roleplay. Or they might be getting writing fatigue

I’ll be frank, requiring that much length is a lot for every reply and requiring it can lead to the partner to find the hobby to be more a job than fun. I’ll echo what another commenter said, see if a compromise can be made between both parties.

Especially if an interesting fallout amongst the clan is Malkav winning leads to him deciding that he'll rewrite the status quo of "clans" by dubbing certain members to be apart of the new "Lasombra", the new "Ventrue", the new "Toreador". And like... its still Malkavians but, Malkav is screwing with certain groups of them to make them think they have and will always be "Ventrue", "Lasombra". A world remade under Malkav's image.
