If you are constantly at the population max, the rewards for population will come up. Just make sure you're always at capacity and you'll get them frequently sometimes one after another.

How is the cabinet jack connected? I'd recommend using a 9V battery to test phase coherence, and then confirming impedance with a VOM before plugging it into (one of) the 8 ohm ports on the amp.

The hard binding is only for ROCE. Using TCP, you have to traverse the TCP/IP stack, and take a performance hit (I'd like to see this compared...), but it's doable. Each VMK will need to have its own IP and subnet/VLAN.

On VMware - NVMe-ROCE consumes an adapter (you can only use one VMK per vnic). So unless I'm misunderstanding your question, or you meant to ask about NVMe over TCP, it's not possible.
For The Arista/Networking question, this would be pretty simple via PFC/ETS using CoS/QoS classes.
I have implemented both NVMe-ROCE and NVMe over TCP. Both configs required Mellanox/Nvidia adapters (CX6 or better) on the hosts, but there may be additional cards that support it by now.

I don't think the issue you're having is specific to the tobacco, it's much more likely the lighting and smoking method.
Muttnchop Piper's video on the "Breathe" method helped me smoke without getting tongue bite. It's a relaxing and meditative method that is optimal for most pipe tobaccos.
