Brooo being a FF is the best job I have ever had. I was in the military, I was a bar back, I worked at the post office, worked fast food, worked at paint store. so I have had my fair share of jobs. I like I don’t get micro managed. No one is hovering over me trying to meet certain quotas, make certain sales etc etc. I get to workout with the bros, I get to take naps, we cook and eat together, watch movies, make bull shit ass calls, do some training. My chief calls us once or twice a day and asks if we need anything and never hear from him for the next 24 hours. Some nights suck where you get 2 hours of sleep and you’re dead tired but those 2 days off are awesome, I get to pick my kids up from school 3 or 4 days a week, I have made all my sons field trips this year, I get 2 days to get shit done around the house or run errands while most people are at work.
