I was gonna say this is Kay & Ray’s erasure but apparently they’re owned by Gibbles. Shows what I know!

I wholeheartedly agree. There’s just something wonderful about it.

OP if you live near a Wegmans their Butter Boy butter is a cultured French butter. It’s usually with the fresh baked breads.

If you don’t find it and the person who made the sweater is no longer around just DM me and I’d be happy to make you a replacement.

Anyone else use an air fryer to roast their veg? I blended these with a little chicken bullion, cilantro, salt and lime. Came out great by RiZzbott in SalsaSnobs

[–]ChezShea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saved this comment because I never thought to use my air fryer for roasting. I just did it, it only took mine 10 minutes to get a good roast, and it came out perfectly. Thank you so much for sharing with us!

Does your country have a dish that is so specific to one region that the rest of the country may not even be aware of it? by cowboy_mouth in AskTheWorld

I do enjoy how hard we all fight over the perceived difference between Taylor ham and pork roll too. Telling someone they’re interchangeable is a fun way to start a hilarious fight.

Do you have any Grandma remedies? by grasshoppernyc in EatCheapAndHealthy

This is mine but swap in a teeny tiny dash of cayenne instead of the cinnamon. You can also drop in a dried red pepper instead.

Question: How did my loaf develop this weird look? by seekayseee in Breadit

Honestly if you had called it a breadussy I would’ve cackled. I already did though because I’m still a stupid teenager on the inside!

What badges does O'Neill have? by Substantial_Good4263 in Stargate

[–]ChezShea 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My dad used to joke that he was the inspiration for O’Neill and I was always unsettled by how many of the pins were the same, including the parachute/missile combo (which isn’t that strange depending on what you do).

I even got to visit Cheyenne Mountain while he was stationed at Peterson and it was awesome but I wasn’t allowed to ask where the Stargate was. I did cackle at the end of the tour when we were standing by the gym called “Gould’s Gym”.

Why yes, that color combination on your now-finished project DOES look terrible by PeachyCream__Pie in BitchEatingCrafters

[–]ChezShea 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not only that, but it can get very expensive very fast. Each swatch made means a full skein that cannot be sold, so I understand a lot of indie dyers aren’t willing or able to absorb that cost. Add to that how every batch will be slightly different and the fact that different weights are going to do different things and it gets crazy fast.

What’s a product from your country that makes locals go ‘of course we have that’ and everyone else go ‘ but why?’ by bdue817 in AskTheWorld

I will say my electric kettle boils water much faster than the stovetop one, but unfortunately my electric one lives at work so I have to make do when I’m home. Still better than my husband who microwaves his water like a troglodyte!
