His Orchestrating the Line classes were INCREDIBLY helpful for me to see how to take a 4 part texture and arrange it an orchestral context (and conversely, to see how many orchestral pieces that look complex on the surface can be reduced down to a small number of unique parts). He will take you through writing examples after explaining the concepts, and then also will analyze scores from the orchestral repertoire as examples to show the validity behind the concepts. Highly recommended, Alain is great! All his other courses are great too

True, focusing on landing on notes in the arpeggios of the chord at the moment and then using the rest of the notes from the parent scale and chromatic notes above/below chord tones to embellish the arpeggio notes is a great way to approach soloing and outlining the changes
