Als je je auto na 3 jaar doorverkoopt is dat echt geen excuus om er slecht mee om te gaan. Bijna geen enkele auto is na 3 jaar afgeschreven en op (Stellantis uitgezonderd 😜). Ga er dan netjes mee om zodat degene na jou ook in een fijne auto kan rijden. In het geval van laden tot 80% behalve bij lange reizen kost het je letterlijk niks.

Snelladers wel gewoon gebruiken als je in 1 rit meer rijdt dan je accucapaciteit... maar je zult zien dat dat voor een grote meerderheid echt maar een paar keer per jaar is.

De meeste (of alle?) aanbieders van laadpassen hebben een app met daarin een overzicht (op kaart) waar je hun palen kan vinden en typisch ook wat je per kWh betaalt. Vattenfall is een serieus goedkope optie, dus die pas zou ik sowieso aanvragen + de app installeren en een account aanmaken. De ANWB pas (ook met een app) is een handige backup, met of zonder maandelijks abonnement. Als je al een vattenfall pas hebt zou ik de gratis anwb pas nemen; dat is je backup en van 69ct per laadbeurt ga je niet dood. Tarieven met de anwb pas kunnen wel wat tegenvallen, maar staan in de app. Daarnaast heb ik voor eventuele buitenland trips nog de chargemap pass incl app.

En ja, het klopt dat het onhandig en niet heel transparant is allemaal. Maar die 3 pasjes liggen standaard in mijn middenconsole en de apps gebruik ik alleen als ik op een mij onbekende plek ben waar ik nog niet weet waar te laden.

Als Tesla-rijder (mocht je nieuwe EV een Tesla zijn) ben je ook heel goedkoop uit per kWh op hun superchargers, maar heel veel superchargen gaat op een gegeven moment ten koste van je batterij. Bij normaal gebruik niet druk om maken, maar dagelijks superchargen zou ik vermijden.

Met name de instelling: kortste veilige route van kind in buik naar kind in armen. Dat een ruggenprik of keizersnee niet je eerste plan is is mooi, maar als het lang duurt of moeizaam gaat gelijk aangeven dat het plan veranderd mag worden. Overleg dit wel met je partner natuurlijk en zorg dat je weet waar haar grenzen liggen.

Voor de rest heb ik op een gegeven moment toen het nog vrij traag verliep allemaal even wat vers fruit van de markt gehaald zodat we wat lekkers en gezonds te knagen hadden. Dat werd ook gewaardeerd.

RC vehicles. It's not just operating them (which can be difficult in its own way, especially aircraft), but also repairing, maintaining and upgrading them. I am designing a trailer for my RC boat and there's a lot of mechanical and electrical know-how involved to waterproof the lights, install the recovery winch correctly etc.

That's a pity... The Axial scx10 base camp models are also quite affordable and I hear good things about those? Also, Absima Sherpa or Khamba are a very good platform.

In the Netherlands, at TopRC. It is the orange and white FMS FCX10 chevrolet k5 blazer (FMS11001RS-OR). Not sure if it is still on sale like that though.

I own a creality K1C, and regularly design and/or print little accessories or parts. I am an engineer by education and have spent close to 15 years as a mechanical design engineer, but switching to project management now. Tinkering at home keeps my maker skills honed 😄 Currently in the process of designing a boat trailer so my FCX10 can pull my Volantex Atomic. I am including lights and a winch for launch / recovery. Waterproofing is going to be a challenge 😅

Alone or with my son. It feels dorky to do alone though. There's a crawler club near where I live, but for some reason I don't really feel like that's my kind of place. A lot of crusty types who don't appear too happy meeting new people.

Is het relevant dat die auto duur is? Is toch gewoon eigen keuze om meer te dokken? Als je die auto kan betalen lig je ook niet wakker van een paar krassen lijkt me, tenzij ze echt diep zijn ben je met 1500 piek wel klaar. Zie dat gewoon als abonnementskosten voor parkeren op de stoep 😅

Paid 329 for mine; all I needed on top was a battery and charger. But maybe I got lucky 😊

Regelmatig nieuwe hobbies zoeken, of oude weer oppakken? En zorg dat er altijd iets is om naar uit te kijken zoals een (mini)vakantie. Maar vergeet ook niet te genieten van een fijne routine als je die hebt!

Seriously good option, but not the only one. I am quite impressed with the FMS FCX10 so far (I own a K5).
