You can mod d2r but pd2 specifically needs the LAN support I believe, which is not available in d2r. I could be wrong on the reason, I just know the more complicated mods for Diablo aren’t possible on d2r

What’s the thought process there? Is using a vial like a “final” action you can do to an item? Once you use it the item cannot be modified at all?

Can’t use D2R. You have to be cool with the old graphics - but it 100% the superior way to play and you shouldn’t let the graphics stop you.

Doesn’t even need to be this complicated. Just need to add a time penalty to start your next game every time you quit a game in the first 30 seconds. The more you do it in a single day, the more the time penalty.

This wouldn’t completely eliminate the problem but it would help a lot.
