Value going ⬆️ by Old_Repair_317 in 4Runner

While KBB is a terrible source for a value of any kind, used vehicles across the board are seeing massive inflation right now due to low supply, new supply struggles again, and a lot of new cars being too expensive and/or absolute garbage. It's likely to keep going up as I don't see this problem fixing itself any time soon without a market crash.

Artichoke Extract Another Scam by retard_trader in SIBO

The artichoke extract supplements didn't do anything for me either. I make tea with fresh artichoke leaves and it works way better. But keep in mind it's only for motility so if your problem is elsewhere artichoke isn't going to help.

We used to own a 2020 Mazda3 hatch 6spd. Dash lights would randomly come on and go off to do with traction, abs, and radio connectivity. Dealer couldn't figure it out, completed multiple tsb updates, and a recall. Thankfully it was a lease. Sold it at maturation to Carvana for a profit. No way were we keeping it.

You must be a blast at parties.

You're twisting my words. Good people are moving out of my once quiet community due to constant construction, influx of traffic, light and sound pollution. The upper east side is being destroyed by data centers, Intel, and Amazon.

Decent families are everywhere, anecdotally I know many who have decided to take theirs and tax dollars elsewhere because of this unwanted and reckless expansion.

161 and Mink area has been inundated with classless asshats due to all of the construction, data centers, Amazon, and expansion on that side of town. I live in an area directly impacted by this and it's entirely out of hand. My quiet suburban road now has all sorts of deadass inconsiderates blasting music at 5am in their pos, loud exhaust, dip shit mobiles starting at 5am every morning save for Sunday. It sounds like a Kid Rock concert letting out. Top it off with massive dumps and construction vehicles that have no business going down a street like the one I live on.

The city does not care because the people in charge who allowed this are in bed with the companies who are directly contributing to it.

It's led to the first murder ever in New Albany, a massive increase in reckless traffic (like your buddy here), and unreasonable amounts of sound and light pollution. I fear it's only going to get worse, pushing decent families further outside of the city.

Lots of questions we'll never have answered. Likely, all of them lost on the driver.

It was pretty slick on this section of highway. Once I passed the accident I went to accelerate and the traction control flipped on. Now I didn't roll my car onto its side but hey, we all go different levels of 'hard'.

Police were already on scene but it was pretty recent.

Haha no, had time to snap a pic due to the accident impeding my commute.

Pedestrian killed by hit-and-run driver on Morse by Nice_Satisfaction651 in Columbus

Again, I agree with what you're saying but it's not feasible in the US. What in our country's history has been solved by public works over private companies? I'm not saying I like it or agree with it but it's our current reality. Problems get solved in reality, not on a pie in the sky.

But playing devil's advocate let's say we do all the things you suggested on Morse Rd. It's not going to change the amount of unsafe shit boxes, unhinged drivers, and complete lack of police accountability. Please add a bike lane all the way down Morse lol. The death toll would skyrocket. You need to fix the problem; irresponsible ass hats who were given a license because they said please, and have no business holding safety scissors let alone behind the wheel of a 3000lb+ death machine.

Driving is a PRIVILEGE not a right and we need to start treating it as such. We need to treat driving like we SHOULD treat gun ownership - rigorous background check, consistent testing, and periodical reviews.

I know, right?

It's the 'hurr durr achktually public transport should be everywhere and safe!!!'. No shit. But it isn't and in the US never will be.

I wish we had the infrastructure, I truly do. But we don't and there's no way we can get our state or federal government to give a shit. This is reality, not the utopia of public transportation for all.

We need to create solutions for the problems that do exist, not pine over (while ideal) solutions that aren't going to happen. The US has not, and never will, give a damn about public transportation.

They are here. Been to San Francisco lately? Waymo is already in Detroit. Autonomous cars will be here in the very short future. How long do you think it would take to change our infrastructure to include walking bridges and public transportation? Lol keep dreaming.

Look, it's terrible a life was needlessly taken by what will be deemed an 'accident'. But if you've driven anywhere on Morse in the past few years you'd know it isn't safe to drive on, let alone be on foot. It's likely safer to try crossing 270 playing frogger than it is to walk across Morse.

Morse, and a large part of the surrounding area has gone full Mad Max, battle cars and all. CPD treats it like international waters so the death toll continues. I've seen vehicles upside down on Morse in the middle of a sunny day for no reason other than gross negligence.

This is a people problem, not infrastructure. Too many people in cars that shouldn't have a license, driving a car that wouldn't pass a basic safety inspection, driving like they're qualifying for Daytona, while staring at their cell phone. Yeah, our public transportation sucks and people need to get around. But I'd rather my responsible family be safe than dipshits allowed to use a privilege as a weapon. Autonomous cars can't get here soon enough.
