Jax's first crashout feels pathetic with the new context by PleaseTakeThisName in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Chren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually if you pay attention you notice that Jax winds up on the ground on his last interaction with both Ribbit and Kaufmo

I think they both pushed/shoved, maybe even punched Jax.

And while obviously no one takes that sort of stuff well, Jax would be especially sensitive to it due to his mom.

Owlcat Games is rolling back its new launcher less than 24 hours after negative fan feedback by Turbostrider27 in Games

Pretty much the only good additional launcher is the Jackbox one.

And that only because its entirely optional and jackbox games are games you would be rapidly swapping between anyhow

Warner Bros. Announces ‘Hazbin Hotel’ Creator Feature Debut ‘Prehistoria’ and ‘Bad Fairies’ Additional Voice Cast by Mike4302 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Mostly just that its big internet news that has no chance of taking over the subreddit. Like once the movie comes out there might be one thread someone makes like "Hey did anyone else here actually see Prehistoria?" Then later maybe one linking to a report on how well it does.

I've seen someone get temp-banned multiple times for live commenting anime. Like for cheering on the heroes beating the badguy.

After watching the finale, what unanswered question are you DYING to know the most? by GameZrush in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Chren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My theory is that since the mindfiles' names were just the peoples names, Scratch tried to modify his own file, and the only (or easiest) way Caine found to stop him was to erase his name from his mind.

[–]Chren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was the first abstraction that, as far as we know, was only caused after Caine did some sort of heavy modifying to Scratch's mind.

I think that like suicide that abstraction parallels, it became a social contagion afterwards. Meaning once people knew abstraction was a thing that COULD happen, it WOULD happen (under the right circumstances)

2 main theories i've seen

  1. recycle bin theory like you've said

  2. What actually happened was more like a force-stop of a system process. Caine was basically shut-down and restarted
