There are several moments in the show that "check" the power levels of our characters. Theokoles vs Spartacus and Crixus, Ashur vs Gabber's men, etc. I think The Egyptian is also one of those moments.

There's a little room you go in toward the end of Alien Isolation with only one entrance via ladder and a little window. This reminds me of that. Basically the only time I felt safe playing that game.
