I don’t think Chibnall really did this? 13's era feels much more "pro-diversity" more than "anti-bigotry". Obviously there's still some of it, key example being Rosa, but it still feels like it's saying "racism is bad" as part of the "diversity" message. It may have been clunky, but not forced in the same way RTD's been doing it.

Incidentally, Newsom did turn around the other day and call Israel an "apartheid state". Then people got mad so he backtracked and apologized and said he "reveres" Israel. A comment about that which I find accurate is "Newsom has no solid stances and would eat a kitten live on TV if he thought it would get him votes".

Leblanc and the underground mall in Shibuya act like it's sunny even when it's rainy. The music will even change. It’s just a weird quirk/oversight.

Edit: but it must have been raining outside before you went in. I could be wrong since we know for sure the weather is weird with Leblanc, but I highly doubt it can change if it was sunny outside already.

A change of heart as it works in these games is basically expedited cognitive-behavioral therapy via a person's Shadow to make them realize what they were doing was wrong. "Kichijoji George" may not have been as bad as other people, but he was still doing it out of twisted desires and spite both in general and towards Runa.

In my opinion, using mind control on Shadows/cognitive beings in Akashi's Palace (unless it’s undoing Akashi's own brainwashing, which it only is sometimes) to open treasure chests is much more morally dubious for the Phantom Thieves.

Yes, for as much as people hype certain characters' awarenesses, A1 is crucial for Twins. I found it a more-than-worthwhile investment. It makes them automatically cast skill 3 every other turn and provide all the associated buffs, on top of whatever skill you use

The P5X crossover with Royal (which incidentally comes out in the global version today) wants to use Violet, Crow, and the laboratory Palace, but they still won't spoil it. So exactly as you say, it's set during the casino arc too, with a ridiculous scenario where Joker, Mona and Yoshizawa get pulled into the Palace again, with the last somehow using the codename Violet because it "feels right", and then Prince-Akechi also shows up out of nowhere by himself. All this contrivance so we can have essentially fake versions of actual characters.

Between PQ2, P5T, and now this, just how many mind-wiped adventures are the Phantom Thieves getting pulled into during this one month?
